This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[ Fairy early in the day, a strangely frazzled and distressed Ikki is going to contact Masaomi. She sounds incredibly non-chipper, which is really weird for her, as...mostly everyone in the world knows. ]

Masaomi! Masaomi, are you there? Um, something kinda happened and now I don't know what to do 'cause at first I thought it was just a visit maybe but he's upset and I can't talk to Chien although I tried and I don't know what I'm supposed to do with these things and and and I don't think he'll be there if I go to lunch 'cause that's sort of the thing and I think Soren eats normal things but I'm not sure and are you there??

[ it occurs to her she should stop talking for a minute if she wants an answer, so the frenzied fast-talking trails off, and Ikki might be rubbing her eyes and sniffling. If Masaomi managed to decode any of that, the chirping in the background probably makes a lot more sense. ]

I didn't get a chance to thank you for coming this morning. I know you'd tell me that it was silly to thank you anyway, but I do. I'm glad you came. It made a difference. Thank you.

I hope you and Shikamaru are doing all right. I know he's got a lot of people from his world going, but I'm trusting you with each other. Don't forget to ease up on yourself enough to get some rest. Tell Linda hello for me.

These letters have been the highlight of my days during my time out here. I sent Linda back, and she should be making it back this morning, maybe this evening at latest. If she makes a scene, tell her I'm sorry.

Return from the Battle of Vaskoth

[His Reunion with Linda may or may not get it's own subheading depending on how I think that's going to go down.

Masaomi arrives back at 4PM (see here). From there he goes back to the apartment. He'll great anyone on the way, but he doesn't even go for Linda, instead going to drink about a gallon of tap water and take a shower. Then he makes a journal entry to tell everyone he's back blanketly. He also tells them that he will be in the square, and they can meet himthere-

It's 6PM by now. The sun hasn't quite set (and damn if he's going to soak up the sun until it does) and the infected draftees aren't home yet. He sits on a bunch though... just looking up at the sky]

Return from the Battle of Vaskoth

[Aang decides to take a break from trick-or-treat protocol to go check on Masaomi - deciding to go separately from Ikki because of the potential subject matter. He air scoots his way over, in full Aladdin get-up, to make sure he's okay and try to check up on things. Hearing about Steve the other morning was bad enough. He calls out as he approaches]

[Shikamaru will be at the apartment, at some point. He avoided the welcome wagon and found a quiet place to watch the sun, ignoring everything else until the wetness in the air made his arm (which is in a makeshift sling) hurt more. He tracked his way back then - probably missed Masaomi if he was still at the square.

There he grabbed his journal and sat himself down on the couch, where he hasn't moved from since. Other than to kick off one sandal/shoe, he hasn't changed either. He's trying to pick up a pen with his toes. :T]

[Tired of the fog, Katara has actually decided to bend it out of the way as she sits and waits for Masaomi to come back in the square. She's standing there with her arms wrapped around herself, occasionally waving a hand from its spot resting on her arm and clearing a little circle of fog-free air.

She'll be needed back at the Med Lab soon, but this is important too.]

december 25th, afternoon

[ After finishing up with family present time and breakfast, Ikki shows up at the Dome in the pink party dress she put on when she woke up (because Holidays Require Dresses, right?), white veil and Soren in tow. She's bouncing with excitement, and although she didn't bring her new glider from Uncle Sokka this time, she definitely will be demonstrating it for Masaomi and everyone else she knows at one point or another. ]

And a Merry Christmas to us all, Ikki! [With a cackle. He's actually ore smartly dressed than usual, in a tie...! ...And not a suit. Just a tie and a sweater vest and a button up. so he looks like a hipster]

Whenever it is sees these two young men up in the valley. There's some snow, but despite this being in the mountains there isn't much due to its location. Instead the snow is sloped on the sides, which would make coming here on foot dangerous since the path is iced over. Pays to have a teleporter.

And not a far trek from that, sitting in all its glory before them when they stop... there is a log.]

[So, shortly before Asuma's return to Luceti, we're going at this Substitution thing again. The last month has been crazy hectic, but they've probably managed to fit in some training for it at least one other time besides now.]

[Or, you know, whatever date you want since we're good with whenever. Either way, sometime after Masaomi's birthday and the Speed-Dating event that everyone except us was busy with, Cilan will leave a quick message for him through the journals:]

Hello Masaomi! Would you and Linda like to train together with us over at the Battle Dome today? We can discuss whichever tastes you'd like to improve on in terms of your training with Linda as well if you wish. If today's not a good day we can reschedule, but otherwise if you're not busy, then please feel free to meet us there.

[And yes, Masaomi can find him at the Battle Dome should he decide to take us up on the offer today (or whatever day this is), currently looking at the monitor that helps set up the training fields and simulations, trying to decide what should be implemented for today's training...]

[And indeed, he'll meet them there. Within the better part of thirty minutes. Linda is on his shoulder - and really, he's wary. This is the first time he's doing one on one with Cilan and the first time he's going to explain the problems they've been having, as well as... no he doesn't need to mention Green's theories]
