This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

I'm Static. I mean, that's my superhero name, anyway.

Oh, so that's what's with the mask. It's pretty cool and all, but with the sorts you meet here, you can't be too sure.

[A superhero, huh. He has known many, many heroes here. But not too many super heroes. In spite of himself, he leans forward a little, a bit more attentive]

... you didn't think I was a supervillain, did you?

[He knows of three people who wear masks. Superheroes, Supervillains, and Mexican wrestlers. He's pretty sure he wouldn't pass for the latter, so...]

Wouldn't I just be wearing half a mask?

Oh, right. [He tilts his head thoughtfully and- yeah, he's right]

But a real superhero, huh? I guess you've got to avoid being public even here.

Yeah. I mean, for all I know, you and me could be from the same world.

[generalflirt]

Probably not the same country, then. I feel like superhero Static would have made the headlines in Ikebukuro, otherwise.

[systemshock]

Well, I'm no Superman. I'm not world famous or anything. Though I did save the world once. [...] Well, I mean, I helped.

[Superman... he met the guy, once. That was a while ago. He goes to pet Linda behind the ears idly as he continues with-]

Wow, that's impressive. Most I've ever saved is my paycheck!

I wish I could save one of those. School and superhero work doesn't leave much time for flipping burgers.

It's not as glamorous as it sounds. [But huh, that would make sense.] At least, despite these tags- [Which he and Linda should get to removing - and just to show it, he removes one] The stuff here is free.

Free, but not a comic or game store to be found. Kinda takes away for the experience, you know?

[Snrk] We "pay" with our time, I guess. That Item Shop the goth chick runs has a little bit of everything if you check back on different days and the library has everything with text, even comics by times. The diligent shopper checks daily.

[Not that he does. ...Well, not daily. Your get bored]

I've found a few comics already. But it's kinda hard to do much with them when they're out of order and not even from the same series.

Stay here long enough, maybe you'll find someone to write you their own.

[Okay no one would ever be that bored. Maybe. Probably. ...Said the guy who was currently removing price labels from candy bars alongside an electric mouse in a convenience store of his own will]

No, that one was a joke.

[Probably]

... oh, right. Yeah. I knew that.

[...Snicker. In fact, the mouse snickers too]

[Okay, he's being laughed at.]

... anyway, I'll take some of those candy bars. I need to get going.

[Heh - well, he's gotten three labels off right here, so he turns and tosses the three over at Static. With that, he smiles and-]
