[Masaomi, back from his mission steps up out of the tunnels... tired. He's quite tired, as is Linda (who is resting her pokeball which is clipped onto his vest. He has on the ninja flak vest he borrow from Shikamaru forever ago and also looks a bit beat up. Some of his sleeves are torn as are his pants. He has some cuts, some bruises, and some burns, not all of them healed but some of them healing. He also has one of his collapseable batons in his hand. Aside from this, his muscle build up is more obvious but-

But something different about the image - despite all that and the rain and the injuries, he's laughing once he looks up at the sky. Stronger. Stronger. He already feels it. Well, no time like the present, despite his tired he's going out to accomplish a few things. First is actually to go pick up something to drink from the grocery and pick something up from the item shop (feel free to run into him at either of those) and head over to Mikado's apartment. It's an important day, after all, and he did not want to blow him off for it. Besides, if he heads there now, he might make it as the guy is coming back to school and he might run into him before then.

After that, well, he'll spend his day with Mikado until that night (though anyone can run into him before then). This'll last until about 8PM, when he's going to be going to hang out just inside the battle dome for a reason which might obvious to a lot of people. (and no, he still has not changed his clothes, even if he might have cleaned up the more obvious injuries). And after whatever comes of that, he's going to go back to his apartment to meet up with his roommate and anyone he didn't run into through the rest of the day before finally popping open the journal.]

[Voice]

Masaomi Kida has returned!! I hope you all didn't miss me too dearly!! [Okay so he's tried and running on caffeine by now, but he's still grinning ear to ear] Some rain out there today, and man is it wet- [he resists saying "ladies I hope you didn't get too wet if you saw me today" but it's hard. He laughs to himself at that joke despite not saying] You can tell the sky's telling us something though, riiight? We're approaching spring, a time of love and lust and all between! So sound off!! Whooooo's got a special someone? Who's got a crush? You can trust me, I'm a Love Machine.

[Laughing at this, once more]

So ladies... and gentlemen. Don't speak up all at once.

I haven't exactly run into any picture books of animals from our world.

Maaah, that's a shame, I would have liked to have seen those.

[A beat. and then he can't hold back anymore. He looks at Linda. Linda nods and her cheeks spark. So while they are still walking back to her place-]

But more important, Linda learned some new moves!

Oh, did she?

Mmmhm. [And he skids to a stop, urging Linda to leap off his shoulder. She does, but when she does there's a weird magnetic hum - the same sort of sound Magneto makes when he flies - and instead of falling Linda ends up floating in magnetic opposition to the ground. It's not as flawless as Magneto's work (she's bobbing in the air for example) but she is floating.

Her fur is also standing on end]

[Oh my goodness.]

[Seems. Useless. But cool.]

[She also "swims" a bit in midair, floating closer to Katara. However, while she keeps up most of the way she falters and sinks and sometimes curves up a few times before she ends up landing on the girl's shoulder]

Seeee?

[Linda, now landed, tries to pull her fur down to normal again, but she's still pulling a light but distinct magnetic tug for anything metal on Katara neat that shoulder]

[Not much metal there, except the ends of that bracelet that Allen had given her, high on her shoulder. It rides up uncomfortably, and Katara winces a little before turning to pat Linda on the head.]

Very good, girl.

And that's not all! Not by a long shot! We also learned to focus her electricity in other ways!

[Snapping his fingers, her grins further, considering how best to show this]

Notably, despite the magnetism dying down, Linda is no longer attracting hair for static cling. she's mastered her output when she isn't doing anything else] Both her and me - but I guess a gentleman doesn't show off all his talents at once.
