[Masaomi, back from his mission steps up out of the tunnels... tired. He's quite tired, as is Linda (who is resting her pokeball which is clipped onto his vest. He has on the ninja flak vest he borrow from Shikamaru forever ago and also looks a bit beat up. Some of his sleeves are torn as are his pants. He has some cuts, some bruises, and some burns, not all of them healed but some of them healing. He also has one of his collapseable batons in his hand. Aside from this, his muscle build up is more obvious but-

But something different about the image - despite all that and the rain and the injuries, he's laughing once he looks up at the sky. Stronger. Stronger. He already feels it. Well, no time like the present, despite his tired he's going out to accomplish a few things. First is actually to go pick up something to drink from the grocery and pick something up from the item shop (feel free to run into him at either of those) and head over to Mikado's apartment. It's an important day, after all, and he did not want to blow him off for it. Besides, if he heads there now, he might make it as the guy is coming back to school and he might run into him before then.

After that, well, he'll spend his day with Mikado until that night (though anyone can run into him before then). This'll last until about 8PM, when he's going to be going to hang out just inside the battle dome for a reason which might obvious to a lot of people. (and no, he still has not changed his clothes, even if he might have cleaned up the more obvious injuries). And after whatever comes of that, he's going to go back to his apartment to meet up with his roommate and anyone he didn't run into through the rest of the day before finally popping open the journal.]

[Voice]

Masaomi Kida has returned!! I hope you all didn't miss me too dearly!! [Okay so he's tried and running on caffeine by now, but he's still grinning ear to ear] Some rain out there today, and man is it wet- [he resists saying "ladies I hope you didn't get too wet if you saw me today" but it's hard. He laughs to himself at that joke despite not saying] You can tell the sky's telling us something though, riiight? We're approaching spring, a time of love and lust and all between! So sound off!! Whooooo's got a special someone? Who's got a crush? You can trust me, I'm a Love Machine.

[Laughing at this, once more]

So ladies... and gentlemen. Don't speak up all at once.

You should trust your instincts. If you left, then I believe that you had a reason.

[She shrugged, smiling a little.]

Even if you ran because you were scared, or you ran to protect yourself, or you ran to get stronger - you still had a reason. Those are normal reasons. I might not agree with them, and I usually think it's a lot better to stay and work things out than to leave, but... I believe that you thought you had a reason.

Ah... haha. Linda, listen to this girl.

[Linda props her head over to look at her trainer more. What is she listening to again?]

[Eyebrows up.

What are you talking about, boy?]

[He continues to address Linda, pacing closer to his twogirls, smiling] This girl, who has knocked me before for running, doesn't believe in my likely objectives, and who even has at times told me my actions were wrong, now tells me that she believes in me. [A dramatic head shake] Maaaah, the scary thing is that I have no doubt in her sincerity.

[While his paces over to her were slow, his next move happens very fast. He doesn't mean it in a threatening way, really, he just brings his arm over to her shoulder to summon Linda onto it, and then leans his face in towards hers - hopefully before she can shove him off or anything. He would push it by whispering this in her ear or kissing her forehead, but he's hoping his expression and next words will be sufficient.]

[She leans back, not moving her feet, but securing her own space and smiling.]

[lean back a bit - on his heels, so his legs are still right close to her. Also Linda took her cue to walk back up to his arm, up it, and onto his shoulder but.

[She relaxes a little as she starts to talk about him.]

He's got a real way with people.

I would say that his charisma is completely different than yours.
