[Masaomi, back from his mission steps up out of the tunnels... tired. He's quite tired, as is Linda (who is resting her pokeball which is clipped onto his vest. He has on the ninja flak vest he borrow from Shikamaru forever ago and also looks a bit beat up. Some of his sleeves are torn as are his pants. He has some cuts, some bruises, and some burns, not all of them healed but some of them healing. He also has one of his collapseable batons in his hand. Aside from this, his muscle build up is more obvious but-

But something different about the image - despite all that and the rain and the injuries, he's laughing once he looks up at the sky. Stronger. Stronger. He already feels it. Well, no time like the present, despite his tired he's going out to accomplish a few things. First is actually to go pick up something to drink from the grocery and pick something up from the item shop (feel free to run into him at either of those) and head over to Mikado's apartment. It's an important day, after all, and he did not want to blow him off for it. Besides, if he heads there now, he might make it as the guy is coming back to school and he might run into him before then.

After that, well, he'll spend his day with Mikado until that night (though anyone can run into him before then). This'll last until about 8PM, when he's going to be going to hang out just inside the battle dome for a reason which might obvious to a lot of people. (and no, he still has not changed his clothes, even if he might have cleaned up the more obvious injuries). And after whatever comes of that, he's going to go back to his apartment to meet up with his roommate and anyone he didn't run into through the rest of the day before finally popping open the journal.]

[Voice]

Masaomi Kida has returned!! I hope you all didn't miss me too dearly!! [Okay so he's tried and running on caffeine by now, but he's still grinning ear to ear] Some rain out there today, and man is it wet- [he resists saying "ladies I hope you didn't get too wet if you saw me today" but it's hard. He laughs to himself at that joke despite not saying] You can tell the sky's telling us something though, riiight? We're approaching spring, a time of love and lust and all between! So sound off!! Whooooo's got a special someone? Who's got a crush? You can trust me, I'm a Love Machine.

[Laughing at this, once more]

So ladies... and gentlemen. Don't speak up all at once.

[Honestly confused, he tilts his head to the side]

[And with that, she calmly moves to step around him and keep walking.]

[He turns on his heel. Linda settles in to walking beside him and he settles to get back on to being next to her]

I call the last two stun shock and slaphappy.

Stun shock?

Muuuch easier to demonstrate than explain, but I'll refrain. Basically, Linda concentrates her shock so that it paralyzes someone without harming them. On smaller things like her it's usually the full body, on things our side it's currently more like limbs.

[You are one scary little electric rat, Linda, and your powers make Katara so uncomfortable. That reminds her far too much of chi blocking. In fact, she could see how it would be accomplished in a similar way.

But her tone is neutral.]

I can see how that would work.

[After all, Shikamaru does worse.]

Exactly! Couple that with me and this - [And in a clearly practiced movement (gained to reflex over the last weak) he puts a hand into the flak vest's larger pocket, pulled out a collapseable baton and springs it to full length all in the span of a few seconds] and I've got a real ace.

[She nods in approval.]

That sound work. Especially if you've been working on your control as well.

Mmmhm. I'm even stronger - you can't see, but the gunshow got a few more shots off.

[HEEEEH]

[She rolls her eyes and sighs.]

You actually just said that.

[This is what happens when you teach Katara a modern term, Masaomi. She ends up thinking you're a weirdo.]

I did, but I've got more muscles too.

[Point and wink]

[Extremely dryly:] Thank you for explaining that to me in such detail.

Well I do what I do what I do.

...Doesn't support him. In fact, she rolls her eyes]

That's okay. [She shakes her head with mock sympathy.] You've had a busy week.

[So naturally, you make even less sense than normal.

Anyway, check it out, they're nearly there?]

[Siiiigh. Hang head, shaking it.

[Aang was standing outside the house and chewing on an apple following a meditation session. He notes Katara's approach and waves to her, while also noticing the fellow accompanying her.]

[Aang steps forth to meet them.]

Hey, Katara! Hey, Katara's friend! Oh, I'm doing... [only slightly confused by the phrasing, he takes another bite of the apple] good!

Aang, this is Masaomi. [She smiles.]

Masaomi, this [the slightest emphasis] is Aang.

[And, you know what? It's an incredible feeling to be able to introduce him again.]
