[Masaomi, back from his mission steps up out of the tunnels... tired. He's quite tired, as is Linda (who is resting her pokeball which is clipped onto his vest. He has on the ninja flak vest he borrow from Shikamaru forever ago and also looks a bit beat up. Some of his sleeves are torn as are his pants. He has some cuts, some bruises, and some burns, not all of them healed but some of them healing. He also has one of his collapseable batons in his hand. Aside from this, his muscle build up is more obvious but-
But something different about the image - despite all that and the rain and the injuries, he's laughing once he looks up at the sky. Stronger. Stronger. He already feels it. Well, no time like the present, despite his tired he's going out to accomplish a few things. First is actually to go pick up something to drink from the grocery and pick something up from the item shop (feel free to run into him at either of those) and head over to Mikado's apartment. It's an important day, after all, and he did not want to blow him off for it. Besides, if he heads there now, he might make it as the guy is coming back to school and he might run into him before then.
After that, well, he'll spend his day with Mikado until that night (though anyone can run into him before then). This'll last until about 8PM, when he's going to be going to hang out just inside the battle dome for a reason which might obvious to a lot of people. (and no, he still has not changed his clothes, even if he might have cleaned up the more obvious injuries). And after whatever comes of that, he's going to go back to his apartment to meet up with his roommate and anyone he didn't run into through the rest of the day before finally popping open the journal.]

Masaomi Kida has returned!! I hope you all didn't miss me too dearly!! [Okay so he's tried and running on caffeine by now, but he's still grinning ear to ear] Some rain out there today, and man is it wet- [he resists saying "ladies I hope you didn't get too wet if you saw me today" but it's hard. He laughs to himself at that joke despite not saying] You can tell the sky's telling us something though, riiight? We're approaching spring, a time of love and lust and all between! So sound off!! Whooooo's got a special someone? Who's got a crush? You can trust me, I'm a Love Machine.
[Laughing at this, once more]
So ladies... and gentlemen. Don't speak up all at once.

[Halting the trick after several minutes, dropping the pebbles into his hand, he then looked up at Masanomi.]
What about you? Do you have any abilities?

Masaomi's more of a... nontraditional fighter. He's very strong.
[She glances at the pokemon on his shoulder.]
And he works with Linda now.

Whoa... Linda, you're really great! I didn't know lightning could be used that way. [Of course, Aang knew of only one way lightning could be used by living creatures. And it was not a subject he liked to dwell on.]

Katara shifts a little uncomfortably and tries to maintain a neutral, approving expression.]

Linda uses Flash. A blinding field of light shoots out of her and when any of the people present (sands Masaomi because he pre-closed his eyes) recover their vision, they might notice her faintly glowing from those cheek-ports]
[Action]
What was that?!

Masaomi! Linda! A little warning next time.
[She also rubs at her eyes.]

Yes, very effective, Linda.
[She is still mentally linefacing at you, Masaomi. You only wish were as excused-by-cute as your Pokemon.]

[Masaomi snaps his fingers. Linda gives a short note, and directed at Aang claps one of her paws on her tail in a motion which should not produce this but it does - a small sonicboom designed to disorient the enemy. (Fake Out, that is - in game terms it always makes the enemy flinch on the first move so I'm assuming it relies on the enemy not being on-guard)
...Katara will recognize it. she's been on the receiving end a few times]

Whoa! [He regains his composure as Masaomi names the move.] That seems pretty useful too! Linda must be really good at stopping enemies without hurting them!

The epitome of our efforts I've taken to calling stun shock, but... that might be a little alarming to show you.

[She's invested in Aang and Masaomi getting along, and isn't sure a lightning demonstration is the best way for that to go down.
