So, who here's heard of dinosaurs?

[ He's been reading Michael Crichton lately, sue him. Also, he genuinely wonders how many not-Earth people have, given a lot of animals do seem similar between a lot of worlds, but... dinosaurs though. ]

[ Action ]

[ Well, there are normal staples of Masaomi's day: you can see him working the Convenience Store if you want, you can see him shopping for clothes, you can see him in the library (perhaps picking up some books in the aforementioned dinosaurs), or training (in a tank top and shorts) at the Battle Dome. At the end of the day you might also see him going to HQ for the end of the night.

But... something else is at the Dome today fore someone who wants special stuff. Namely, once he's tired and sweaty and Linda has worked herself hard, Masaomi is still using his room, but he's using it to project images of all sorts of dinosaurs based on a picture book that he picked up at the library. To see them in motion, because why wouldn't you try to do something like that? ]

[ Pikachu takes the packet out of his mouth, sitting it in front of himself with a smile as he digs his claws into the wrapping. Hey!! You eaten today or you want some? Gonna be up to anything?

And oh, lookie, there's Masaomi. Red looks around at the store before looking back to the young man, bag dangling from his hand. ]

Do you run this place?

I'm not the owner! But I'm the only one on staff right now!

[ He closes his book, answering this. And with that, he turns a little to face him.

As for Linda... Well, she ate this morning, but it was just an apple. If you're offering -- we-well it's not like she's going to save no to it or anything ]

[ Red head turns to the sound of - two pokémon? But ah, back to the guy. ]

Oh, so- you know what's not popular and stays on the shelves? Like foods and drinks.

[ No problemo tearing into this wrapper, and Pikachu's spilling the contents for them. Hey, it's okay, let's share - so no trying to take them all again! ]

...You're looking for the unpopular?

[ She shifts now, making ready to stand, with a little bit of a smile.

Oh well, she'll collect some now with a yawn and get some of it. Let's have some ]

Right. [ You heard him correct!! ] And if there's anything you've taken off the shelves already, maybe I can look at it? I've got a friend who'll eat anything, see.

[ Good!! Then that's some for her and some for him, and Pikachu's going to start nibbling down on one. Gotta eat a bit first before chattering! ]

So you're unloading on a garbage disposal, huh? Well then, I'll got just the things, hold on. [ And he gets up from his seat, curious, amused. Actually both of them in spite of himself. When he stands and head towards the shelves there... Linda and another Pikachu? So this is that kid from the suit? Maybe? He should have recognized that right off.

Oh well.

But let's see- ] Not a lot of people into pork rinds, for one. [ And he tosses back the two bags here on the shelves back at the guy ]

[ Describing Snorlax as a garbage disposal? Pretty much okay. He waits only because the guy told him to, seeing the book left behind but not looking near enough to read the title. Good thing he didn't nosy, since incoming bags!

They crinkle as he catches them, and as he's turning them over to read- ] What are they? Like chips?

[ Or as actual people call them crisps you heathens. ]

[ Wow don't be like that Red get that monocle out of your eye ] Yeah, pretty much. They're made from pork-stuff though supposedly.

Like the pork in curries? [ He's read a menu!!! But he'll put them into his bag. ] Do they taste weird?

In curries...? Oh, yeah. Among other things. [ A beat ] They don't taste great, which is why there's plenty left.

[ Sense enough, that's what he's looking for! Moving on. ]

Do you have anything healthy-like that doesn't taste great too?

Yes we do. [ Specifically, they have... this particularly seaweed juice. And he pulls it out of the cooler here to demonstrate ]

[ Even reading it, Red's nose scrunches up. Seaweed juice? Seaweed juice? Seaweed...juice? ]

Have you ever had it?

Flavored versions. This one's the raw stuff.

[ Stiiiiilll staring at it... ]

I'd rather drink lemons. [ But he'll stick it in his bag! ] Can I get a few more? [ Since you're by the door to them, bro! ]

You got it! [ One more. And then a a second.

He's tossing them all at Red, so think fast and catch fast, work hard play hard ]

[ wow he's like right there dude, why toss them!! He now has a bunch of cans resting against his chest. How does he go from arms and chest... to bag...

LETTT him get down onto the floor, kneeling - he can set them down easier like that. ]

So why's this place exist when there's the other shop that's always empty? [ He asks as he slips the drinks away. ]

Because it's just a little bit closer to the edge and it's a one-stop-shop for a whole bunch of items you'll need to snack on or pick up. Well, we have some other long term goals too.

[ He comments that, reaching in there to pick up something no one else has picked up - off-brand frozen waffles. He drops them towards Red too ]

[ Better allow Red to catch them too! And he was about to laugh at what Masaomi said too. ]

Oh, I can't use these. I'm going to be training with my partners. [ He holds them back up to him-- and then moves them back down. ]

Actually... just one packet. [ Yes. This is a plan. Tucking it away! And you know who has been awfully quiet and away and not here? ]

Pikachu! Are you okay? Did you find anything you like?

[ Piiiiiiiiiii!

Well... okay!! --oh ] He's with me.

-So you're Red-kun after all.

[ Can't use those? Well, whatever. He closes the fridge and turns to face the guy. He leans his back against the door to it, and thinks about what else isn't used here, but mostly, he focuses on the kid in front of him ]

Huh?

[ Red-kun? Sure, the guy's voice had sound somewhat familiar, but... Red now squints his eyes as he looks up at him, blinking, but uh... ]

...Where do I know you? [ You're on the tip of his tongue!!! ]
