So, who here's heard of dinosaurs?

[ He's been reading Michael Crichton lately, sue him. Also, he genuinely wonders how many not-Earth people have, given a lot of animals do seem similar between a lot of worlds, but... dinosaurs though. ]

[ Action ]

[ Well, there are normal staples of Masaomi's day: you can see him working the Convenience Store if you want, you can see him shopping for clothes, you can see him in the library (perhaps picking up some books in the aforementioned dinosaurs), or training (in a tank top and shorts) at the Battle Dome. At the end of the day you might also see him going to HQ for the end of the night.

But... something else is at the Dome today fore someone who wants special stuff. Namely, once he's tired and sweaty and Linda has worked herself hard, Masaomi is still using his room, but he's using it to project images of all sorts of dinosaurs based on a picture book that he picked up at the library. To see them in motion, because why wouldn't you try to do something like that? ]

And when you return to yourself, you have memories of that other life. Is it more sad to think they only lived that week, or that somewhere, in some other world, they existed?

Well, I do and I don't. [ He says this a little sheepishly and laughs some, tossing the guy some pretzels which are no doubt stale ] I'm sort of curious, but then, have you experienced that?

Me becoming someone else? No... I just have guys from the same town with my name walking around.

Not with them? We've got a pikachu and a venusaur with us, but he's got a poliwrath.

Oh, well, Pikachu aren't that uncommon, are they?

Yeah? They're not common just because there's four here. [ A half-hearted shrug. ] Teams don't really matter anyway. Ash got his pikachu when he started and Red had poliwrath since he was young. I only got Venusaur this year and she's who I started with.

Four and I've known at least one or two others aside from them. You can't blame me for thinking they're a common sort.

Maybe they're popular somewhere else. [ eh. ] I don't know. But me and Ash and the other Red are all from the same town so our pikachus could all be from the same forest.

[ SPEAKING OF THOSE. why aren't you brain freeze Pikachu you putz. She has been being cautious this whole time but now she's glaring ]

I think... that it would be a tragedy if that man never existed. I'm more a pauper than a prince, but I have nothing but respect for the man.

Right now she's glowering with it in her mouth though, which is turned out you can't really do because it comes out looking like a pout ]

[ Pikachu starts chuckling, the sounds muffled against his straw. Heeeeehheh, what a funny face.

And that's a strong feeling for a guy in him- that became through him?? - whatever, some other him that was around for a week. Hmmm... yoinking another product! ]

Do you think about what he's getting up to? [ He rests both his hands onto the bag, focusing onto Masaomi. ] How about meeting him face to face? Would you want to?

That's a loaded question from you, Red-kun! You've got a doppleganger, right? [ Mind you, Red's got different eyes and is several years younger than... Red. Maybe it's not as direct. But he's deflecting. Would he want to meet the Prince? Actually he...

He would.

He'd like to shake that man's hand. He'd like to talk to him about the memories he shares with him. And he'd like to apologize for "killing" his girlfriend. All of those seem like fair things to check on ]

So? They're just another pokémon trainer. [ Was it really a loaded question? ] They're not even a pokémon trainer prince.

[ But maybe he hadn't ever thought about it, and didn't want to right then. Well. ]

You don't have to tell me if you don't know. [ ... ] But a prince would be more interesting to me. Especially if they were from far away.

[ It's the fact it's closer</> which would disturb Masaomi. It's all fine toe encounter the Prince. but where he to encounter some "Masaomi Kida" who made a different choice somewhere long the line, one which could have saved Saki... or even one which had a more basic change, like gender. That would throw him off. ]

You know, you're right. So yeah, I'll say it. I'd like to meet the guy.

[ He didn't think he'd get an answer from that, but he hums and nods to it. There was no reason to the question other than curiosity.

Which fuels him on, the next question coming with a smile, humour in his tone. ]

Do you think he'd be happy getting stuck here again anyway? [ A light and not so serious question, though his own words do spark him to continue- ] I know a prince here. He's got a really grumpy attitude.
