It doesn't meet his eyes, but he's hawking around for anyone in the square, particularly people he knows. And he's holding in his hands two... playing cards?

[ So Masaomi got back from his two missions... just in time to get that announcement from the Red Guy. And you know what, after that announcement, a conversation with Red he had earlier in the month, the fact it is the end of the month, and how mad Linda got at a certain animal on one of the missions they were just on-- it seems like it's time. His efforts with Cilan and the others have reached a fair enough point that it seems like they can do it and- ]

Ladies...! And gentlemen. [ Linda, on his head, chimes in that she would like to make it clear that your lady preference is not necessarily reflected in her and this is her limelight, thank you. To which he laughs.

Either way, the video opens up to see Masaomi and Linda sitting against a large rock at the North end of town approaching the forest's edge, but near the river. They have propped the journal up against something so that it can record them - and given the angle, they've clearly tested the positioning. Masaomi's in just a light jacket over a tank-top (so his wings are a tad exposed) with with real pants because it's too cold to afford to be out in just that even if he had just been working out one last course with Linda in her current form. He's holding ... a Thunderstone. Linda's looking a bit excited too ] Today, we've reached an important point in the life of my partner here, and we're going to show off just what she can do! Namely, [ and he tosses the stone in the air, catches it, and then motions for Linda to get off his head. Which she does, to get up on top of the rock ] it's time for her evolution.

So, who here's heard of dinosaurs?

[ He's been reading Michael Crichton lately, sue him. Also, he genuinely wonders how many not-Earth people have, given a lot of animals do seem similar between a lot of worlds, but... dinosaurs though. ]

[ Well, there are normal staples of Masaomi's day: you can see him working the Convenience Store if you want, you can see him shopping for clothes, you can see him in the library (perhaps picking up some books in the aforementioned dinosaurs), or training (in a tank top and shorts) at the Battle Dome. At the end of the day you might also see him going to HQ for the end of the night.

But... something else is at the Dome today fore someone who wants special stuff. Namely, once he's tired and sweaty and Linda has worked herself hard, Masaomi is still using his room, but he's using it to project images of all sorts of dinosaurs based on a picture book that he picked up at the library. To see them in motion, because why wouldn't you try to do something like that? ]

[And during the bulk of the day...! Masaomi's forgone most of his training for today other than some things on his wrists. On his left wrist (the one that until very recently was in a cast) has a weighted bracelet on, one kilo. That way, he can work it without switching himself up too much. On his right wrist is still Katara's bracelet. He's also still rocking the Bradstache. BuT more importantly!

...He's here to flirt with girls. He hasn't done it in a while, he's in just the sort of mood where he wants to do it again. So if you're in town and a pretty girl, he's liable to go and flirt with you. If you're a dude, well then you can witness him doing it. React to him, stand there to be reacted to? There's a lot of ways you can roll this]

[And sometime about midday tomorrow, Masaomi is in the square It might be a bit dubious to recognize him even if you know him because his hair is dark brown now instead of the blonde people might have been used to (that was dyed okay) but he's back to being a peppy version of himself. Namely, right now, he's leaping up onto the fountain, climbing up onto it and then shouting for the plaza to hear-]

Heeellllooo~ Luceti~!! Boys and girls, particularly the ladies- aaah! Yes, particularly those, but guys too, who wants to go to the hot spring?! It's cool and it's stressful now and I'm sure some of you want to go, right? [And then he bursts out laughing. Yes, he's forcing himself, but he's so back.]

Son of bitch! No! [And then he throws the cell phone clean across the room. It hits the wall with a loud sound - it's not broke, not quite, but the battery pops out of the back and the screen cracks. But who cares. Now, now? His voice is pained beyond anything people have heard in Luceti since about when Mikado was sent home, but this pain is different - Mikado's was cold fury, this one is erratic fury and sorrow and... well yeah]

Hi-ho everyone, Masaomi Kida here! I'd just like all you lovely ladies to know that things might be a little grim around here for a while! After all, the hero that is me is being shipped out for a mission tomorrow morning, so~ Things might be bleak, but keep the faith! After all, I'll be back before you know it!

[...Okay but that's boring. He doesn't want to wait around all day for the answers to that so now he's off around town for something neat. Namely, he's going to first head to the item shop to look for a microphone, and then to that All Passions place he's heard so much about to see what it's all about-

[Well this morning, Kida was eating healthy for once just eating an apple on the roof of his community building (four, that is) when he happened across a very odd creature. He had been actively looking for odd creatures most all of the previous day, so this was surprising for him. Unsure how to handle it, he offered the dinosaur-thing (which mercifully at just sorta looked at him curiously) his apple.

...It proceeded to eat it right up. Confident then that he had gotten the things trust, he opened his journal to try to make a voiced entry about it. Unfortunate, the thing made a curious noise before he started, and as such the journal records much of this conversation he has with the dinosaur]

Neh, you're... [...what was the name] a pokemon, right? Are you Sapphire-chan's?

The dinosaur here seems to make a sound of confirmation. Kida smirks a little and nods] Good, good. I can return you soon to your adorable master. Shall I invite her over so that she might fall into my arms?

[At that, the dinosaur makes a sound which... Kida doesn't understand the meaning of. He blinks and then shrugs, at least it didn't attack him] I'll take that as a yes.

[And then into the book-] Sapphireeeeeeee-chaaaaaaan~ I succeeded in my mission!!
