So, who here's heard of dinosaurs?

[ He's been reading Michael Crichton lately, sue him. Also, he genuinely wonders how many not-Earth people have, given a lot of animals do seem similar between a lot of worlds, but... dinosaurs though. ]

[ Action ]

[ Well, there are normal staples of Masaomi's day: you can see him working the Convenience Store if you want, you can see him shopping for clothes, you can see him in the library (perhaps picking up some books in the aforementioned dinosaurs), or training (in a tank top and shorts) at the Battle Dome. At the end of the day you might also see him going to HQ for the end of the night.

But... something else is at the Dome today fore someone who wants special stuff. Namely, once he's tired and sweaty and Linda has worked herself hard, Masaomi is still using his room, but he's using it to project images of all sorts of dinosaurs based on a picture book that he picked up at the library. To see them in motion, because why wouldn't you try to do something like that? ]

Hey, how should I know. Maybe they never existed in some worlds. Maybe they never got discovered as fossils.

Man, it's hard to imagine them not being a thing.

Right? Like it's weird enough when I have to explain what a tanuki is, but not knowing a T-Rex?

That's like a childhood staple! It's like never having heard of dragons - which are real in some places if not in my world.

[ So this is a place Red hasn't poked his nose around a lot for whatever reason - that being there are other places to go for food and necessities. But a trainer should expand in many ways! So here Red is, poking around the store to see what there is.

Pikachu enters with way less curiosity though, going exactly to where the nuts are to pick a pack up in his mouth and scamper off to see if Linda is around. That gets a - ] Pikachu? [ from Red, but he won't follow the mouse. He can take care of himself! And this kid wants to see what there is that he can put into his potato sack-like bag! Oh, some of these instant and cup ramen should be good...! Except... he can't heat them up. Nevermind...

Heeey, where's that slurpee machine? A back counter near to the staff counter!? And what happened to the cacti?! This is injustice. ]

Haha, seriously. I think every little boy on Earth must go through a dinosaur phase.

[ action - convenience store ]

[ Linda is around. She's sitting adopt the counter though, watching everything in the shop a little imperiously, because she is now the Defender of the Slurpees. Masaomi even said so. But as for Masaomi himself, when someone enters, without really looking up from the book he's skimming he calls out: ]

Welcome!

[ action - inconvenience store ]

[ Oh hey hey then Linda! Feel free to be joined by another pikachu who happily greets her with a mouthful of plastic in his mouth. Gonna jump up and join you! And Red, he won't ignore that welcome, looking away from whatever catches his eye- ]

Oh, hi!

[ Ah, so someone is around? Let this boy go searching for the source of this voice! ]

And some girls. They're like big fucking mythological creatures that existed.

They gotta teach that in the school here, right?

Mmmmm! I think I recall Gelda-sensei mentioning them once or twice, but I'm not sure she was from a world with them.

[ action - inconvenience store ]

[ Masaomi is... on a chair in the far corner near where they used to keep the flowers and cacti. The puzzle-pieze shaped ones, that is. Normally, he would be behind the counter, but it's been a slow day. He's also reading an interesting book.

Linda looks curiously at that Pikachu's got but... hey bro. ]

General sort of category of extinct lizard. They show a few at the Holographic Zoo of Extinct Animals back on Coruscant.

Holographic Zoo?! Ah, ah! That sounds pretty neat, actually!

[ action - inconvenience store ]

[ Pikachu takes the packet out of his mouth, sitting it in front of himself with a smile as he digs his claws into the wrapping. Hey!! You eaten today or you want some? Gonna be up to anything?

And oh, lookie, there's Masaomi. Red looks around at the store before looking back to the young man, bag dangling from his hand. ]

Do you run this place?

[ action - inconvenience store ]

I'm not the owner! But I'm the only one on staff right now!

[ He closes his book, answering this. And with that, he turns a little to face him.

As for Linda... Well, she ate this morning, but it was just an apple. If you're offering -- we-well it's not like she's going to save no to it or anything ]

Why would anyone care about those things?

As long as there's someone to teach about them that isn't me. I'm not going near a school if I don't have to.

Because they're awesome! Most of them were like... over five meters tall!
