On his right wrist is still Katara's bracelet. He's also still rocking the Bradstache. BuT more importantly!

...He's here to flirt with girls. He hasn't done it in a while, he's in just the sort of mood where he wants to do it again. So if you're in town and a pretty girl, he's liable to go and flirt with you. If you're a dude, well then you can witness him doing it. React to him, stand there to be reacted to? Aang, Jinora, and Ikki are all vegetarians. Which is great, because that means I can just make one dish for them and some vegetables on the side, and it will be fine. These things take time to cook and prepare and one extra set of hands isn't going to make a difference.

He allows himself twenty off seconds of laughing his ass off away from the book before he clicks it again, sounding oddly amused]

[And so it was that Katara did what she could to help out Korra and Asami, made sure the girls were taken care of and that there was a cart she could use at the smithy when she went from her meeting with Masaomi to the grocery store, strapped on her new waterskin, and headed out to meet with Masaomi.

She has, by this time, managed to calm down. Mostly. She's still pricky, but the indignation is a good thing. It wards off the dread.

Part of her is very much aware that this might be the last time that they talk like this, and that irritates her and grieves her and just - it was stupid. This whole thing was so stupid.

So she's still frowning to herself when she comes to meet him - if not exactly on time, than not too late either.]
