This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

Moving...

[He doesn't want to do it. He does manage to pick up the pen, but lets it drop.]

You could take another. [Because he's obviously been and gone.] We'll call it even.

Man, Linda's mad at me [Notice how he's still got his anti-electric earring in] if she gets a good wiff of you now, she'll kill you.

[endgames]

[He half-shrugs, seemingly not bothered enough to care. Tomorrow he'll be bitter, but for now he's too comfortably numb and enamored by the first chance to truly be still he's had in a week.]

Where's she at?

Sulking. [Well, "sulking" - he doesn't specify where. Even he isn't 100% sure. He half expects- hopes - to find her in his room, but she could have gone back to the Pokemon house again. Either way, he breaks the distance to sit on one of he bean bag chairs]

[endgames]

[He raises an eyebrow. Having not seen Masaomi for most of the draft, he's not exactly clued in on what went down.]

...When the power limit went down, he shoved her into Raven-chan's arms to force her to go home. [He swallows, and hangs his head a bit]

She was crying.

He talks about himself in the third person a lot, when he feels shame.

Saaaaaaah. [And he rolls his shoulder forward, frowning]

[He rolls his neck, so his head can rest somewhat on the back of the couch.]

If you're upset because you know she'll be angry at you, it's one thing. But think about it and decide if you really regret what you did.

She already hit me with seven thousand volts, I know she's angry.

[But he hangs his head a bit more-]

I can't regret it though, you know that.

Then own up to it. More than anywhere, love drives a man in war.

I survived seven thousand volts, man. My eye's still twitching. Don't tell me about responsibilities.

[He shrugs the one shoulder again. Masaomi will decide for himself how to go about reuniting with her, and maybe he'll get what he means then. And avoid a second round at seven thousand volts.]

...It should have been you.

[It's a non-sequiter. It's debatable if anyone will be able to follow what he means, but be means the encounter with Korras Blake]

[endgames]

[He's on a painkiller, so. No, he's not following.]

[When Shikamaru makes no response, he lets it sit for a moment before he adds-] Finding Korras Blake-san, I mean. If fate was kinder, it'd've been you.

[endgames]

Oh. [Dumbly. Because maybe he should've gotten that. He breathes in deeply.] What'd they do to him?

[Because he wasn't there, but he'd heard things. Brought in was the term, and he's tried not to think about it (despite his suspicions back there) but between Ino (who was at the hospital) and Masaomi's word choice he knows it can't have gone well.]

They beat him up. The man was out cold with blood on 'em when I saw him.

[He inhales and exhales] Told me they didn't have a choice.

[He's barely moved since Masaomi got in here, but with those words he's stiffens, jaw set.]

Who.

[generalflirt]

I don't know his name, some middle aged guy with a beard.

[He sighs and leans back in the bean-bag chair] Didn't have a choice.

[He grunts that out, bitterly]

[endgames]

[Shikamaru drums his fingers on his leg with sudden restless irritation.

This on top of what he heard went down at the hospital? About Lucetians getting preferential treatment?

He pops a knuckle, one at a time.]

[Aaaand... a smile creeps up on his face. A bright, flippant smile. It in no way reaches his eyes (his eyes always betray him) but he adopts a jovial tone, next]

Maaaah~ He had a pretty solid jaw too. I think I might need to do that too!

[endgames]

Tested that out already, huh?

Heeeeh, you know me. Of the two of us, I've the temper.

[His eyes are swimming with indignation, but his tone and his smile is still broad and amused]
