Appointments Post ( I )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

Except not really, because, light help her, she doesn't quite catch his drift, since that's what she was planning on wearing anyway. ]

Um, okay. Where should I meet you?

The Dome. Actually, I've got two ways I usually do this, but I won't bore you with Linda's half of it.

Linda?

Anyway, I can meet you there soon! Maybe in half an hour?

...Acha, you seriously haven't met my partner? I'll be taking her too then, see you there.

[ ... well okay then. Xion just closes her journal with a shrug.

Truth be told, she's not too sure about this plan, but ... maybe it's better if they speak in person. Plus, she doesn't really mind a workout.

So she'll turn up outside the Dome in roughly half an hour as promised, dressed in something like this, which is actually a fairly normal training outfit for her, though she does also have a jacket. She'll be on the lookout for him. ]

[And he's here - shorts and tank top with the rest of his clothes in a locker here. Which exposes his florescent pink wings he usually tries to hide due to their very very bright sheen and the pink. He's messing with the console a bit over here, and there is a Pokeball sitting on the console's table too]

[ ... did she know his wings were fluorescent pink. She's not too bothered by them either way, though. She'll join him inside, watching as he messes with the console, though her attention is on the pokeball. ]

What's that?

[Possibly??? We need to thread more jeez. He smirks and then taps the ball.] My Partner's inside of it.

... Linda?

[ Taking a guess, here. ]

Yes ma'am! [And he reaches outto grab the ball and press the button. And in a flash of red light, Linda the Pikachu (though likely in higher spirits than in that image) appears on the console. Masaomi, for his part, smiles at her before he goes back to fiddling]

[ ... ... ... ... ... SQUEE! ]

She's so cute! [ Leaning over to grin at the pikachu, trying her hardest not to just outright coo at her. ]

That she is. [And he winks at Linda. Linda, being the tsundere mouse she is, huffs and looks away from him. I-it's not like she wanted to hear him praise her or anything! In fact!! She taps his wrist with her tail, so there!!!!!!!

He cackles and goes back to messing with the dials As Linda turns to look over Xion]

[ She tentatively holds out a hand to Linda, not sure what the pikachu will do with it. In the meantime, she looks at Masaomi. ]

What are you setting up, anyway?

I'm setting up my training regime, like I said.

[As for Linda. She... sighs and goes to lick her finger]

[ ... Xion can't help a small giggle at Linda. But Masaomi gets a sort of sideways, uncertain smile. ]

... you know we still need to talk, right?

You're the one who signed on to be here, right? [And... done. He steps off from the console, clicks start, and now rests his hand on the handle of the door for this room] But I know.

Yeah... I know. I just feel like we're getting distracted... I didn't know you wanted to set up a room. [ But if he leads the way, she'll follow. ]

I told you to be ready to work out. [And he opens the door to...! ..A normal looking gym. A big track, weights, some other stuff. machines. It looks normal while they're still on the outside here. And he pulls out Linda's ball to recall her into it in a flash of red light.]

Ladies first.

[...But the trick of it is that the gym has twice of Earth's gravity. It's a bit intense at first.]

[ Ooh. See, Xion is unfamiliar with gyms like this! They're normal to him, but to her they are rather a departure from her usual sort of training spaces. So she heads in with an air of curiosity...

... and immediately bows a little under the sudden increased gravity, a sound of shock escaping her. She nearly goes to one knee, unbalanced, before she rights herself and pushes back to her feet. She lifts her hands, noting the extra effort it requires wonderingly. It's like someone has attached weights to every part of her body. ]

What did you do? [ With soft awe. ]

[And he steps in - he trains in this daily, so visibly, he doesn't seem to be reacting to the extra pressure and weight. He is, of course - how he is standing is different, his posture is effected, and he's shifted his center of gravity.]

You know what gravity is, eeeh? This is twice what we have on Earth.

Wow... Masaomi, that's amazing! [ Briefly, all thoughts of anything serious go out of her head as she lights up, bright as the sun, overjoyed by this discovery. She immediately starts moving around - first just stretching, then jumping in place, then moving through a few Kyoshi forms. She doesn't do it all perfectly, of course - a few times she nearly falls flat on her face because the heavier gravity makes her miscalculate her body positions. But she manages to stay upright. ]

You must get really strong, training like this...

Why yes, yes I am.

[And he tugs at his tank top as if he were in a suit or something which would be poetic for him to expose most of his chest in. ...Okay so he is muscular but really he's mostly making a joke movement--

And he goes into his stretches as well. Standing ones, then some sitting ones, then standing again. Mostly, he's doing a warm up of getting re-acclimated (mostly in terms of breathing: he doesn't know if it's in his head, but the air feels "thicker" in here) before his run

Until the second time she falls.]

Careful though, falling like this can hurt-

I'm okay! [ She pauses briefly. ... now would be the time to bring it up, wouldn't it? But to be honest, it's going to be a little hard like this... she feels the pressure on her body, too. It's not that it's hard to breathe precisely ... it just feels off. Heavy. ]

... so ... that thing I needed to talk to you about...

Mmm. Alright, let's hear it.

[Normally, this is when he would run. But she's clearly still getting used to it. He had to take it slow the first few times he attempted this, so he instead motions for her to walk with him. He is going at what he assumes is a leisurely enough pace towards the track]

[ She follows him, keeping pace well enough. ]

... Riku told me something when I got back. About something someone had said... talking about eligible wives. [ Her brow furrows. That's still a vaguely ridiculous concept to her.

Her gaze, on the floor until now, moves to his face. Questioning, curious, a little disconcerted. ] ... he told me you said something about me.
