Sure it's unseasonably cold, at at least it's not raining. As a result, he is outside in his hoodie (a PINK one, not a white one, I might add, thanks to Frey). He's on top of a crate he's set up a little outside the square, and making some dramatic motions by way of his opening.]

Welcome, welcome, to the one and only broadcast for self-betterment, Kida Radio! Today is yoooour lucky day, Luceti for I - a man without parallel, Masaomi Kida, am not stepping forward to give you advice for all the things you might need advising for in your life!

[And here he lips off the crate, leaning his face in on the journal, grinning ear to ear]

[Robert blinks a little at the reaction. This is literally the first time he has encountered a truly negative reaction to his relationship with Don, and even knowing it was considered strange here (as a matter of fact it would be considered somewhat odd on Terra), that didn't prepare him for the statements from Masaomi. Still, he figures he ought to clarify.]

Ah, well, I was hardly implying you were, merely wondering if you had any advice...

And yes, I mean somebody who isn't human. But it's hardly a fetish. [Robert's tone is even, and he doesn't visibly seem to be embarrassed by the topic.] It's just that his body is relatively inconsequential when compared to his mind.

[That, and Robert does find him genuinely attractive, but he's not sure if he should mention that.]

There are so many non-human sapients in Luceti. Are you saying that with all your apparent expertise, you have never once seen such a relationship occur here?

Ahaha... well... [He's trying to relax - the guy's tone, which is even, somehow helps a little with that. If he has been combative, Masaomi isn't quite sure hoe he would react with that. Non-humans. Dating a non-human, oh man this is just weird and he cannot pic- ...Kaori. Well.]

[Cough, and then a thoughtful pose] Oh, oh~ I've been there a little before! A robot and some others. What exactly are you looking for insight on, my fine man?

A robot? [Robert wonders if they're thinking about the same person, because Nu immediately came to mind. As did Kryten.]

And... [Now Robert's tone goes distinctly anxious. He isn't sure how to word this properly and it just comes out as something of an awkward mess.] I-I, er, am... n-not particularly good at emotional things, and... and I don't want to be a problem, and... I-I'm not sure if there is some manner of improving one's ability to... tell.

Th-that and... I... [... don't want to lose him. But Robert isn't sure if he can say that, and his statement trails off pathetically.]

He forces his breathing to something closer to normal and tries to repeat himself more coherently.]

... I... have trouble discerning emotions. And in a relationship, that tends to be an issue.

Is... there some way to... improve one's ability at that, effectively?

[People like Kida seem to have this confidence, this easy comfort with interacting with other people, that Robert has always lacked. In a way, he envies it.]

[...Pfft. Pfft. Actually, he starts to laugh at this, because while he's using other terms, Robert is essentially describing Mikado's problem, right? Or maybe he's misunderstanding]

Oh yeah? Well, what sort of trouble have you run into with that little diddy before before now? Seems to me that if you have a relationship already you'd in a state of No Problem!

[Being laughed at always hurts when Robert misinterprets it as a mocking gesture. But he attempts to strongarm past it and give some kind of answer.]

... Well... a multitude of problems arise as a result. For example, I find myself having difficulty understanding his cues, and because of this, things he says to me can be misinterpreted by myself, or missed entirely...

... A-And, I would not know this unless someone were to explain.

Okay, to start, if you're missing the signs, then you just need to try to look better for them! Or get some training about them. I know a few other gay guys, so maybe they can help you with what guy signs are, I don't pay attention to those.

[And here he waves a hand, dismissively. Pushing that problem aside because he A) doesn't care that much and B) can't address it properly. He takes a seat on the crate, and then puts on a thoughtful expression]

[And then, after a moment of pondering, his next sentence comes out a little sharper]

You talked to your boyfriend about this yet, man?

[He nods a little.] Yes, I have... He is aware of the fact I am not exactly neurotypical. But... I'm still... a-afraid of not being a good partner for him...

He really deserves something good for once in his life. And a person who can understand him for who he is.

[Even if Luceti has conditioned Robert out of appending his title all the time, he still feels the need to drop his full name...]

That would depend on whether you were older, younger, or equivalent to twenty-four in Terran years. Which... is likely similar enough to yours for the argument to be moot.

[In other words, yes.]

I have found that maturity and not age is the real indicator of anything helpful in this regard, though. [And as much as Robert doesn't like to admit it, he is not mentally mature in some manners.]

[Inhale, exhale, and then he strikes a pose] Well then, if you're an adult, what about your thoughts on an adult relationship with this guy?!

... Adult relationship? [Robert piques an eyebrow.] Do you mean a sexual relationship, then?

[Completely deadpan. Like the topic is just as mundane as, say, the weather or what hair colour they have.]

[With some color rising in his face. Holy God you don't say these things, man. He blanches a little] Not that I need to know the dets, but if you like the guy for the mind, you better at least find him... y'know, hot!

[Not only can Robert not read social cues, but he has no sexuality taboo whatsoever. This is a bad combination for anybody who doesn't like hearing atrociously blunt statements.]

Oh, I certainly do find him attractive. For multiple reasons, but most notably the fact that he... is him. That supersedes anything else, to me.

... May I ask why you enquired about this, though?

---You really think that?

[Flatly. He doesn't answer the question, but an attraction and supersede something as basic as species? He still can't fathom that]

Why should I not? The most important part of him is his exquisitely-intelligent mind. That is the part of him that I love, and that loves me in return.

Were I only to want someone for zir body, it would be as superficial as being with an inanimate object. In that case, why bother? The emotional investment would no longer be worth the effort when I could simply turn to something like simulations.

[It's clear by Robert's tone - and his inability to effectively lie - that he completely and sincerely thinks everything he's saying.]

This isn't to say that his body should be ignored, either. But bodies can change very easily, even outside of things like experiments. Barring forcible intervention, a person's mind is much harder to change, and that comparable permanence means it is a much greater indication of a person than the person's body.

... Granted, the Malnosso have made it obvious that they can alter either at will.

I suppose I could understand sounding like a computer, due to my logic and rationality... but a pervert? That... seems illogical. Nothing I'm saying strikes me as particularly strange.

Presumably, when you find a person interesting, you aren't simply attracted to that person's body, are you? Or... [Well, he could be, but then what would be the point?
