[ So Masaomi got back from his two missions... just in time to get that announcement from the Red Guy. And you know what, after that announcement, a conversation with Red he had earlier in the month, the fact it is the end of the month, and how mad Linda got at a certain animal on one of the missions they were just on-- it seems like it's time. His efforts with Cilan and the others have reached a fair enough point that it seems like they can do it and- ]

Ladies...! And gentlemen. [ Linda, on his head, chimes in that she would like to make it clear that your lady preference is not necessarily reflected in her and this is her limelight, thank you. To which he laughs.

Either way, the video opens up to see Masaomi and Linda sitting against a large rock at the North end of town approaching the forest's edge, but near the river. They have propped the journal up against something so that it can record them - and given the angle, they've clearly tested the positioning. Masaomi's in just a light jacket over a tank-top (so his wings are a tad exposed) with with real pants because it's too cold to afford to be out in just that even if he had just been working out one last course with Linda in her current form. He's holding ... a Thunderstone. Linda's looking a bit excited too ] Today, we've reached an important point in the life of my partner here, and we're going to show off just what she can do! Namely, [ and he tosses the stone in the air, catches it, and then motions for Linda to get off his head. Which she does, to get up on top of the rock ] it's time for her evolution.

She can't handle it anymore- she starts to glow white as the evolutionary process begins, but then the video is caught off in the form of her leaping past Masaomi and tackling the journal shut just as the process begins to take hold. Because she is not going to be embarrassed further. He makes a little bit of a protest when she does, but...

[ You bet she is! She's a lot stronger now, and she can feel it, even!

And she even flexes for it ]

[ Says Masaomi from under her. Linda, for her part, grins all the more fiercely here, punching a fist into her other ... paw. Sparking ]

[ Ash grins before he gets an idea. ]

Hey, if ya ever wanna battle someone Pikachu and I would be willing ta battle!

[ Pikachu replies in agreement. Just because you're a Raichu now doesn't mean a thing! ]

Seriously? Sure, I'd love to!

[ He wants to see how Ash goes. Cilan-san has a lot of respect for him, after all, and even if that does make Masaomi a little nervous, a battle shouldn't inspire that big of an issue. ]

'Course! Just tell us when you want a battle and we'll be ready!

[ It could be now, or a month from now. Just say the word and they will likely drop whatever they were doing at that time to battle. ]

[ Fifteen minutes isn't that long a wait! Ash will be waiting outside when Masaomi arrives, all hyped and ready to go! ]

Hey, hey, hey! We've arrived! [ Masaomi says this with a laugh and some gusto as he touches down - literally. Linda was floating them both with Magnet Rise to get there and they land on the ground with him laughing a bit arrogantly ]

[ Ash waves and goes right on over to them when they touch down which, to Ash, was really cool okay. ]

Woah, I didn't know Linda could float like that.

Personal talent on her part, actually. We've worked on her Magnet Rise most of her life.

[ And in fact, to show off, after they've touched down, she floats herself back up in the air. Magneto Style ]

Oh, so she's using Magnet Rise to do that? So cool!

[ He didn't even know that Raichu could learn Magnet Rise. ]

If she can do that I can't wait to see her power in battle!

[ Pikachu agrees with this. This is going to be a fun one isn't it! ]
