[ Masaomi has made a promise to himself today. It's the Monday after Valentines and he's pretty sure he hasn't been shifted yet. He's also gotten a pretty disappointing chocolate turnout on Valentines probably - anyone is free to correct me if your characters gave something. And really, something Davis once said still weighs on him... Not that he can do anything about it this late in the game but he's going to be doing something special today:

While he's working at the Convenience Store or later in the day when he's hanging out around the square - not only is he going to flirt with almost every girl he can see, which isn't unusual, he is going to try to score as many actual dates as he can. Asking people out. Because why not? It'll be fun and chances are the plans will be put awry in the next week or two anyway.

So ladies, come at him. Or dudes come ask what he's doing or maybe join in on him. yolo swag ]

Oh, and uh, when you mentioned sparing time later tonight? I can, um... I'll see what I can do about that. [She wasn't sure if this was a good idea or not, but, nothing ventured, nothing gained right? He reminded her of someone she knew back at home, and she enjoyed their company, might turn out the same here?]

Well, depending on your commitments, we could just suggest a time right now and you can tell me where I might pick you up.

The nightly hours are far more open for me, provided I haven't crashed on a couch or bed yet.

Alright then, sounds good to me. I usually start heading home from the library around that time anyway, so you can catch me around there.

Very well, I'll see you at six then. [She'll give him the pleasure of a small smile before she was going to head out with her things.]

[ He waves her off and then hops back to the counter, to hop back behind it.

Now, at six he'll be outside of the library and he'll also have changed into something more suitable (albeit with brown hair not blonde). Mostly because gotta look cool and gotta go fast. Such is the life of a Tokyoite ]

[And she's right on schedule, exiting the library at their designated time. She stops in place the moment she spots Masaomi, feeling a little underdressed now as she was still in her usual attire, save the jacket and gloves of course.]

[ It's okay he's cold in this get up.

[She gives Masaomi a quick wave with her greeting.] Hey there.

[She was quick to shove her hands in her coat pockets, a little extra warmth didn't hurt, though she'd have to gesture with her head now.] Shall we be off?

[ Smiles. He spreads his arms wide briefly before folding them behind his head and decides to go and saunter ahead of her ]

[Well she's simply not going to let him take complete lead here, as she settles with walking next to him.]

I haven't had the chance to see what Good Spirits has to offer. Is there anything there that I should absolutely try?

There's a few house drinks. The McCoy, the Going Merry, this thing called Romulan Ale... of those, I only recommend the Going Merry. But that's just me not being into strong spirits.

You're not the only one then. [She couldn't count on her fingers how many bottles of alcohol they had on the ship that were quite strong, and to her, also quite disgusting.]

But then again, I've never really had a strong drink that was actually good.

Honestly, I generally go for cocktails myself, particularly those with a fruit twist. Or cut the difference and mix a soda in with it.

[ He said this while twirling a finger in the air ]

[She stuck her tongue out a little in disgust at the mention of soda.]

Bluh, soda. It never ends up agreeing with me on anything. Best to keep it away from me. [That and, caffeine in a mage meant trouble.]

Oh wow, really? See, we're learning things already. I've been big on Mt. Dew for years now because two of my friends are addicts of the stuff.

[ this is said with a rocking motion going in with his hands and a further slouch forward with a smirk ]

...Mt. Dew? I don't think I've ever heard of it before.

[Even among the mountains of different beverages there were on the ship she was on, Mt. Dew wasn't exactly one of them. Doesn't help that Karis doesn't know much about Earth dishes and drinks anyway, and what she did know were all illegal anyway.]

What! That's hideous. We'll have to show you.

[ And he lurches a large step forward because it's not like Good Spirits is a long way from the library - so he might get ahead of her and get the door for her ]

If you insist. [She just shrugged at this. Granted, it was still soda, but she won't knock it until she tries it.

She doesn't try to stay stay next to him when he steps forward, though she does give him a quiet "thanks" for getting the door.]

Oh but I do. [ He said this mildly forebodingly as he adjusts the shades he has on before twirling back to next to her once the both of them are in the threshold ]

[This earned him an odd look out of the corner of her eye, but she quickly dropped it and shrugged, speaking in a singsong voice.] Whatever you saaaaaay.

Come on though, come on! Do you want to sit at the bar, but a booth might be more intimate!

[ Energetically, he tries to get ahead of her, waving a hand as he goes ]
