Masaomi wakes up on the 19th (post event), and starts his day as normal (well aside from waking up a bit later than normal) until he realizes WAIT, WHAT about two or three different things all at once. He promptly gives up any semblance of a normal morning, instead opens his journal and writes/draws the following entry:]

Welll-! [Whiiiiine. Linda pushes out her cheeks. Proudly]

...but then her conscience bricks and she holds out her hand with a little sigh. You want her to take a look?]

[He holds it out. Thundershock is much, much weaker than Volt Tackle, so the hand barely had anything of a burn. Actually, there's not even really a mark, just messing his nerves a bit. which is making his hung-overness worse]

[and now he looks at Linda and laughs] Actually the first one was when she busted out of her egg.

["Not really?" That's boy-talk for yes, isn't it.

Streaming out the water with the other hand now to rest it lightly on this one. Yeah, his nerves are all frazzled and she's glad she checked him out because this is the second one in - what, ten minutes? Oy.]

[You know... he is so sincerely comforted by her doing this. Sob.]

[This is the damage that she is exceptionally suited to healing, so really it won't take long. She handles the hand first, soothes the nerves from the earlier electric shock as well just from this one hand.

She leaves the damage from his hangover alone, though.]

I'm not sure if that's cute or disturbing.

Well I guess it shows this little girl has a lot of power for a newborn...

Probably a good thing. [She shifts now, having sat in one position this entire time, and pulls her knees up to her chest.]

If you were the first person she saw when she hatched, she might have bonded with you. If you didn't end up liking her, then... [Katara shrugs] I don't know what would have happened, but it probably wouldn't have been good for her.
