[.......Wait what?

Masaomi wakes up on the 19th (post event), and starts his day as normal (well aside from waking up a bit later than normal) until he realizes WAIT, WHAT about two or three different things all at once. He promptly gives up any semblance of a normal morning, instead opens his journal and writes/draws the following entry:]

[She recalls his 'twenty-five centimeters' and rolls her eyes.]

I just told you the truth. You can't score that.

I meant your fruit-born assertion. That's "my" truth, I can do whatever I want with it.

[She guesses that's fair, actually. But she's not prepared to face the consequences of admitting that.

Also, she's been sitting down for a really long time.

...sigh.] I guess so. But I meant it.

[And she moves to stand up and stretch a little, twisting her waist to the side for a moment.]

Your perceptions were just as altered as mine.

Then, yeah. [He'll admit that much. But oh, we're standing? Well, he can sit forever for all he cares but. He motions for Linda to crawl up his arm. Sensing that's what, she complies, and he stands]

[...well, she was going to sit back down again, but. Okay, she can work with this. Katara takes a half-step closer, ignoring that last bit of communication.]

[His hair is staticing over to Linda again but...]

[Say what? He blinks, throwing her a curious look which... probably looks silly given Linda is attracting half his hair]

He never had to confess to her, or face her when she was mad, or live with her rejection and still try to be her friend. You're doing all of that. That's way more impressive than anything he did.

[These are his facial expressions just so you know]

[Glance at Linda. Glance back at Katara, then back at Linda]

[There's a series of silent personal face exchanges with Linda. This may or may not be an actual form of communication given they have known each other less than 48 hours]

[Glance back to Katara]

Katara...

Let's go out on a date. Just one!

[Okay, about the time where you start having a facial exchange with Linda, Katara's face changes from 'attentive' to... well, this.]

[And then he opens his mouth and--]

What?! No!

[Knee-jerk reaction, there. Enjoy it.]

Whaaaaaat, not even after all that?!

[He even laugh at this]

[Still sputtering.]

No! What did I say that made you think that would be okay - I didn't mean anything like that!

[She said 'live with my rejection,' even! Not 'make me reject you again! Gah, now she feels guilty and flustered.]

[And he's laughing. Linda is laughing too. And he leaps forward, waggling a finger in her face] Ah, ah~ No can do's-ville! I might be living with rejection but that does not mean I am resigned to a conclusion!

If I'm going to live out of the shadow of "him" I need to press on, right?!

[Leaning back now. Dude, get that finger out of her face.]

[Damn it, where is Dignity when you need it and how does she get out of this one? She hadn't meant to encourage him like this.]
