[This morning Mikado is gone.

More pressingly, his computer and most of the things in his room are gone too. Masaomi stares at it for a long while through the hole in the wall (covered by a sheet) dividing their two rooms when he went to check on Mikado today. As it stands... well. Well. There's a few possible conclusions, and they all fly into his head: kidnapped, kidnapped by someone else? Seduced-? all of them leave a foul taste in his mouth. Thus, eventually, he flips open the journal. His tone is flat, with an unhidden hint of threat in it-]

Have any of you seen Mikado Ryuugamine?

[... But he's too antsy to focus on just that. Instead, he's going to hit up all the likely hang outs- he's going to hit up all of the friends of Mikado's he knows the house/apart numbers of. Archie Kennedy, Anne, Shuri, Selphie. For good measure, he then will go to people he wonders might be useful - the clinic to see if he can't find Law-san or someone else there and then around to look for Shikamaru, even though he doesn't know where he lives. By the end of the day, he's just going to be looking in the windows of all the houses he can, and then going to the apartment doors of everyone he can and knocking on their door... progressively feeling more and more like hitting someone or something.

SO UH. Run unto him wherever ! He's feeling insane]

Truth be told, I could barely stand when they came for me, so my experience matters little. But you shouldn't underestimaate them.

I'm not - but if they came for him, I'd have to. But who can do that at home? There's a slasher going around now, you know?

I'd do the same for the people I care for. But.... It's surely safer in a big city with many people rather then a small village where all sorts of disasters happen. Do you not remember last August? Were you even here back then?

No, I wasn't here in August.

....First, the tunnels beneath the village collapsed in a massive earthquake that took half the vilalge with it. Shifts weren't working and our powers were at full strength- we had to dig everyone out and build shelter, gather food, tend the wounded.

Soon after, while the village was still in ruins, monsters appeared, coming from the sky, the forests, everywhere. Anything you can imagine, really, trying to kill people when some didn‘t even have shelter, though they could be tamed.

I ended up in a fight with Yuber who was controlling some of those monsters then and was later kidnapped while I was recovering, but apparently people became... other people, during the last part of the month.

Ah, I see.

[Except he doesn't - most of what Frey says is drowned out by his fury, and what Frey is actually saying really does nothing to abate it. If anything, it makes it worse]

[Roughly, he dislodges Frey's hand - or tries to, anyway. He stops moving there]

Ah, they might.

[Frey's not letting go, and he's got quite a grip. Comes from being a weapon user. Losing your grip in a fight is going to get you killed.]

Do you want them to attack you for acting like this, then? We should go back, It's getting late.

Let go, Frey. [He makes another rough tug of his shoulder. This is his last real warning]

[Well then, don't mind his unhindered shoulder throwing a strong and quick whatever arm it is hook to Frey's face. The force isn't holding back either - better hope it lands awkwardly or that might break your nose. It'll daze him a bit either way, probably]

[That punch hits all right, and even with it landing awkwardly it's going to leave quite a painful bruise and a bloody lip to boot. Still, even dazed from the hit as he falls he's going to be lashing out with his foot on instinct for Masaomi's calves to take him down.]

[That doesn't connect - Masaomi is an acrobat, and as soon as his grip slacks as a result of be dazed a short leap back put enough distance the foot can't connect. The only grace here is he isn't aiming to fight Frey, which is why he doesn't go in for another swing - he hesitates a moment]

What is your problem?! [wincing and glaring as he reaches up to his lip. Damn it, that hurt.]

That's correct. His journal wouldn't be accessibly if he's no longer in Luceti. [At least, that's what he heard, anyway.]
