[This morning Mikado is gone.

More pressingly, his computer and most of the things in his room are gone too. Masaomi stares at it for a long while through the hole in the wall (covered by a sheet) dividing their two rooms when he went to check on Mikado today. As it stands... well. Well. There's a few possible conclusions, and they all fly into his head: kidnapped, kidnapped by someone else? Seduced-? all of them leave a foul taste in his mouth. Thus, eventually, he flips open the journal. His tone is flat, with an unhidden hint of threat in it-]

[... But he's too antsy to focus on just that. Instead, he's going to hit up all the likely hang outs- he's going to hit up all of the friends of Mikado's he knows the house/apart numbers of. Archie Kennedy, Anne, Shuri, Selphie. For good measure, he then will go to people he wonders might be useful - the clinic to see if he can't find Law-san or someone else there and then around to look for Shikamaru, even though he doesn't know where he lives. By the end of the day, he's just going to be looking in the windows of all the houses he can, and then going to the apartment doors of everyone he can and knocking on their door... progressively feeling more and more like hitting someone or something.

SO UH. Run unto him wherever ! He's feeling insane]

[That punch hits all right, and even with it landing awkwardly it's going to leave quite a painful bruise and a bloody lip to boot. Still, even dazed from the hit as he falls he's going to be lashing out with his foot on instinct for Masaomi's calves to take him down.]

[That doesn't connect - Masaomi is an acrobat, and as soon as his grip slacks as a result of be dazed a short leap back put enough distance the foot can't connect. The only grace here is he isn't aiming to fight Frey, which is why he doesn't go in for another swing - he hesitates a moment]

What is your problem?! [wincing and glaring as he reaches up to his lip. Damn it, that hurt.]

[The fists stay, but his expression just becomes a :| ]

[Still glaring as he spits out a bit of blood.]

I'm going to look for Mikado.

You can do it a different way. [pulling out his journal.] If i can reach him over this, we'll look together, ok?

Kouki-kun told me, if a filter fails for him, he's no there, right?

That's correct. His journal wouldn't be accessibly if he's no longer in Luceti. [At least, that's what he heard, anyway.]

Ah.

Then do it.

[He shifts his position a little, his face screwing up to a mask of neutrality. He does frown a little though]

[He's going to be keeping an eye on Masaomi as he starts up a filter to Mikado with a quick, short message of "where are you." even he's hoping just a little that there's still a chance he's here....

.....But nothing happens. It doesn't send. He'll raise the journal and turn it so Masaomi can see the error.]

I'm sorry.

[Thing is, the minute Frey starts, Masaomi turned away. As he was focusing on the book, he turned to outright flee. Not at a run, but he's started to walk away. He can't handle this]

[....Oh for goodness sake. He's getting up and chasing after him once he notices this.] Masaomi!

[NOPE, STILL FLEEING. But he's not going very fast]

Masaomi, he's gone. [Holding up the journal in his face so he can see.]

I'm not happy about it either, but the fact of the matter is he isn't here anymore. What would Mikado think if he saw you acting like this? you've probably scared more then one person by now.

If he's gone, why does what he thinks matters, Frey?

[A mirthless laugh as a smile comes up on his face]

If he's gone, what's the point of all this?! [you will not creep him out, Masaomi. The first time worked out of sheer shock. Now? Not so much.]

Because if he's gone what else is there?! Stop screwing with me! We were together and it was fine, and now he's just gone?!

That's how Luceti works, Masaomi! I don't like it either, believe me, but it doesn't give you the right to terrorize people!

[What else can he do? He grits his teeth and the fury rises all over again. But he also just starts to cry in the midst of that. Angry, bitter, just wronged tears because it's not supposed to have happened like this. And at this, he moves to shove past Frey]

[Are those.....

tears? He's crying?

That stops Frey in place, staring. He stumbles out of the way when Masaomi shoves him, not going to follow this time.

......Damn it.]

[GOOD. Because he's flouncing hard about now. Later]
