So, who here's heard of dinosaurs?

[ He's been reading Michael Crichton lately, sue him. Also, he genuinely wonders how many not-Earth people have, given a lot of animals do seem similar between a lot of worlds, but... dinosaurs though. ]

[ Well, there are normal staples of Masaomi's day: you can see him working the Convenience Store if you want, you can see him shopping for clothes, you can see him in the library (perhaps picking up some books in the aforementioned dinosaurs), or training (in a tank top and shorts) at the Battle Dome. At the end of the day you might also see him going to HQ for the end of the night.

But... something else is at the Dome today fore someone who wants special stuff. Namely, once he's tired and sweaty and Linda has worked herself hard, Masaomi is still using his room, but he's using it to project images of all sorts of dinosaurs based on a picture book that he picked up at the library. To see them in motion, because why wouldn't you try to do something like that? ]

Yeah, little boys are obsessed with dinosaurs. My friend's little brothers have millions of those plastic ones at home and they're really easy to trip over.

Ooooh, lucky! I only had a handful growing up, and one of them actually lost their head in a sandbox.

Oh ho, there would be ancient and extinct pokémon out there, wouldn't there have been?! I barely even considered that!

Sure, I've heard of them. I even got to fight some of them in the Realm of Sleep. Triceratops, T-Rex, and there's this one kind that looked like a living skeleton.

They just weren't actual dinosaurs. More like living nightmares.

Yeah. I wouldn't call myself an expert, because I only know how to work with the Dome's machines, but I would call myself a regular at it. I've been tweaking my personal gym and a lot of other sims for my partner for years now.

Nightmare and dream dinosaurs. The big difference between the two is that the Spirits tend to be more colorful. We're talking bright reds, blues, pinks, and oranges...

Nightmares are colorful, sure, but instead of eating sweets or playing with balloons, they'd rather stomp, roast, or eat you.

Togetaro couldn't support four people! It's got nothing to do with fat!

And what, are the two of them at war with each other and our esteemed master here is the grand negotiator?

War's probably not the best way of putting it. Don't get me wrong, the Nightmares were a problem, but most of the Spirits were made from the dream pieces and recipes I picked up along the way, so it wasn't like there was this big, ongoing battle.

And I guess if you want to get technical, I became one.

As Masaomi walks back to the counter, the Treeko walks across behind him once again and this time carrying a bag of snacks while chanting 'treeko, treeko' again.]
