[ Masaomi has made a promise to himself today. It's the Monday after Valentines and he's pretty sure he hasn't been shifted yet. He's also gotten a pretty disappointing chocolate turnout on Valentines probably - anyone is free to correct me if your characters gave something. And really, something Davis once said still weighs on him... Not that he can do anything about it this late in the game but he's going to be doing something special today:

While he's working at the Convenience Store or later in the day when he's hanging out around the square - not only is he going to flirt with almost every girl he can see, which isn't unusual, he is going to try to score as many actual dates as he can. Asking people out. Because why not? It'll be fun and chances are the plans will be put awry in the next week or two anyway.

So ladies, come at him. Or dudes come ask what he's doing or maybe join in on him. yolo swag ]

It's a very interesting and beautiful place, that's what I've heard! I've been told so much about it that I would like to visit someday and see all the cherry trees, sumos and men with chonmages for myself.

[ And though he makes to put a hand up to his mouth to do a little act, he then ends up snickering CHONMAGES... ]

[ and then he just bursts out laughing ]

[... Oh, he's laughing again, did she miss something? Even if Erica is clueless she'll join in this time as well, matching the volume of her laughter with his. She might end up still laughing long after he finishes though, whenever that might be.]

[ Oh god. He keeps going for a long while - the laugh from her spurring on his own laugh. It deepens and he keeps it up as he tries to mop more, fails, and leans on his own mop. This'll last for maybe twenty plus seconds ]

[Erica will carry on well past thirty seconds then, her laughter steadily getting louder as Masaomi's dies off. Eventually she notices that Masaomi isn't laughing as hard as he was and she stops with a sigh, followed by a deep breath. Phew, a long laugh like that can make anyone feel good!]

Ahaha. Then I hope that you can go to Japan sometime in the future. Seriously.

[ HE might even need to wipe a tear of mirth from his eyes ]

Thank you! I'm hoping so too. The boat ride over there might take a very long time, but it would be worth it to see everything I've been told about... And I could nap during the ride!

Oh, where would you be coming from?

Paris, France! Ah, though I suppose I would need to take the train first to get to the boat and then the boat to get to Japan. If only there were a boat that could take me there that traveled right along the Seine.

Yeah, it'd probably be a pretty long trip no matter how you slice it. Europe is pretty fat away.

I didn't know you could slice journeys, it sounds a little dangerous and only makes me think of one thing. [And with what she says next it's not hard to work out what that thing is.] Do you maybe sell cake here?

[ ... lol ] Yeah, but if you want the God's honest, the bakery's a much better bet for those than here. We've got a huge variety, but no one's baking fresh here.

The bakery does have some very delicious cakes, I agree! I'm very thankful that I was able to try a doughnut for the first time by going there. [But even so-] It never hurts to try eating at different places though. Perhaps you could recommend something from your huge, stale variety?

Wow, when you say it like that it's almost insulting sounding.

[ A beat ] But, I can, don't worry.

[secretmiracle]

It is? I didn't mean for it to be...

[He said that no one was baking fresh so they could only be baking stale, right? Right! So it's not an insult! And with the look on her face, Erica certainly doesn't see why it would be insulting.]

Thank you though. We could eat something together if you like, eating something delicious can always help in cheering someone up.

Ehehe... it's true. So, do you want to stick to pastries?

[ Because that's this next isle over here. And he makes his way to the next isle over - the mopping is done, so he sets it into it's bucket as he goes. ]

Yes please! But I would be happy with many other things as well, like pudding, or even fruit salad.

[Basically anything sweet will work for her. She follows him over to the next aisle, not causing anymore hassle as she goes this time.]

Eeeesh. I could say something of the pudding, but I'd be wary of it. So I guess we need to settle for some hostess.

You'd be wary of it? [...] Please don't be wary of the pudding, I'll make sure to take care of it so there isn't even the smallest amount left. Though if it's too much for you then please don't push yourself just to show me what pudding you have.

[ ... Wow ]

So! Would you be willing to eat all of my pudding, at a later and private time?!

Yes! I would eat as much of your pudding as I could handle, whenever you would need me to.

[She's always wanted to try eating pudding until she's full up, so this works out well! ... He really does mean pudding, right?]

He smirks now, his lips twitching and his eyes sparkling ]

I can shoot some pudding out for you then, just swing by my pad later.

[She's never heard of someone shooting pudding out before. But perhaps Masaomi is just so fast at getting pudding ready that it shoots out of the kitchen! ... Yes, that must be it.]

You would really do that for me, even after what I've done today? Oh thank you, I hope God smiles down on you today for your good deeds!
