[Phase 1: Action]

[ In the backyard behind House 56 there is now a trampoline. Why? A late birthday gift for Ikki now that Masaomi is back from his mission. Fortunately, the MARS people plopped it right there all set up so he only had to make his own down to it (he didn't even go back to his apartment so he's in his mission attire) still to make sure it's there. So. Yeah that's there. And he's considering how to put a bow or something on it - but he doesn't have a bow... ]

[Phase 2: other Action]

[ A week ago, the event ended and Masaomi ollied out. Now he's back from his mission and frankly, he feels a little bit vindicated to have completed the basic training that he failed last time. Linda wanted to rest at the apartment, so he's out solo and wearing this. After he showered and generally felt like he was being cool.

He doesn't feel like working, and while he is in the mood to hit on girls, he's not in the mood to put as much effort into it as he'd like. So mostly, he can be found reading a book in public. Namely, it's a book of poems. He also has a notebook, and seems to be considering something of his own. He should probably make a post or go track down his family or friends or exes from the event... but. Oh well.

In terms of errands, he really only has one, and it's at the Smithy. He's hoping to run into Raven or ... not Sokka, but who knows what'll come to pass]

[Aang is heading straight towards it the moment he sees it, peeking out into the backyard.]

Is that a trampoline?!

[By the time Aang asks this, he is already in midair, leaping straight towards the trampoline. The explanations can come to him while he's bouncing.]

[Wow rude. But will he clear the net? that is the real question. And-]

That it is, my man! Fresh off the Malnosso Press.

[With a little airbending hop, he makes it! And faces Masaomi as he bounces.]

The Malnosso? This isn't part of an experiment, is it?

[Well, now he feels safe that he's already started jumping in it.]

Oh, really? That's neat! I never thought of buying something like this. Why's it here, then?

[ Something going on in her backyard? Of course Ikki will eventually notice this, and when she spots Masaomi, she'll go and see what's happening.

And yes, she might utilize the water slide to get down, bending off of it at the last second to avoid the water. Their house is now the coolest, okay. ]

Masaomi!! What're you up to?

[...Geez their house has all the bells and whistles, and in this moment he feels silly for giving them more. But. He taps one of the poles of the trampoline for:]

I've got something new for you.

[breezing]

[ Sokka should clearly mess up more often. ...Though Ikki didn't get much of the brunt of that. ]

Something new? Is it a starfish?

Nope, afraid not!

[And he taps the pole of the trampoline, again. Yep]

[ ...OH YEAH, THAT...she's not sure what that is. ]

[She noticed him during his reading session, and she was going to just pass him by, but she remembered something. ...In a sense. What was this guy's name again? She had given him her name last time, but he hadn't responded with his own! This would not stand.

Jane didn't know if he had noticed her, but she tried to sneak up on him anyway. Why? Well, why not?]

[He has not! ... Or well he hasn't shown any indication that's seen her. If he did, it's not apparent.

[She still wasn't quite sure if he really hadn't noticed or if he was just pretending not to notice, unfortunately.

...Oh well! In the end she decided to stand slightly off to the side beside him and reached over to tap his opposite shoulder.]

[And he turns! To see no one there! Shock!

Okay he is shocked he's honestly surprised before turning back the other way to see-]

[Aw, she didn't manage to make it over to his other side in time. At least it was kind of funny to see that look on his face?]

Geez, you ruined it! You weren't supposed to turn the other way so quickly!

[Maybe it's a good thing Masaomi and Cilan didn't cross paths during recent events, because Cilan doesn't feel too awkward about approaching him when he spots the other with his book. Granted, forgetting a friend for a brief period of time wasn't particularly great, but that's not our faults.]

Hello, Masaomi. [Cilan's Pansage is with him, hitching a shoulder ride at the moment as it offers a short wave at him too.] What are you reading?

[Cilan... you know, Cilan might be a windbag about this, but he holds it up. It's a book of poems by Pablo Neruda. He's not super familiar with the Latin world's poetry, which is why he's starting here and moving out from it. He also waves with the hand not holding a book, which has a pencil in it]

[Just don't call him a "windbag" to his face, or there may be even more words. Being a guy from a world of Pokemon, it's possible that Cilan wouldn't recognize the book--or rather, would recognize it by a different incredibly awful Pokemon related-pun name, but he takes interest all the same.]

A book of poetry? [And from the latin world, at that.] That's quite a curious taste coming from you...though, not entirely unexpected, I suppose. Are you reading it out of interest, or is there a lucky lady you wish to impress? [Because honestly, Cilan wouldn't be too surprised if Masaomi was trying to study poetry that would woo the ladies in addition to any genuine interest in it.]

Rmmmm, I'm going to say a little of both, but let's call it a "double play" instead! [And this is a great joke, as usual, resulting in him laughing at his own joke]

A "double play"? [Isn't that a term in baseball when the ball is hit towards shortstop and you manage to catch it to put out both runners on first and second base? (Is it sad that was his first thought rather than the urban dictionary meaning of "to successfully pick up two girls and take them home with you"? Then again, the meaning went over his Pansage's head too, more so than his.)]

I see...well then, I hope we're not interrupting you and your "double play", are we?
