This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[Shikamaru, meanwhile, probably dodged the hell out of the way once he realized his human shield is an idiot. Thankfully not a dead idiot as he can tell from here, but he'll just be over in the corner.]

Ha... [Nervous. Hi Linda.] He seems like a dumbass, but I don't think he meant anything by that, you know.

[She glares!! Glares at shikamaru!! Before she huffs and then zaps him a little too. Or tries too. It's with a volt Switch. So he's going to electro-tackle towards him, and then repel off him back into masaomi's room. And try to shut the door on the pair]

[Haha... well shit. There's not a lot of places to dodge here, so Shikamaru just grabs the first thing to defend himself that he can get his hands on.

This happens to be his cat, who came out of nowhere to see what the hell was going on.

INSERT SCREECHING CAT NOISES HERE. (Far as he's concerned though, a door between them is a good thing, so he won't stop that there)]

[Masaomi is still recovering.

...But poor cat]

[...oh god what did he just do.

IN HIS DEFENSE HE DIDN'T REALLY GET WHAT HE WAS DOING UNTIL IT WAS DONE. Not that Kenta cares, given he claws the hell out of Shikamaru's arm good to be dropped before wobbling off like a drunk cat... thing... to crumple against a bean bag chair.

Shikamaru can't even blame him. He'd try harder to make it up to him, but the cat hisses miserably every time he gets close, so while he feels really bad for it, he leaves him be. Might as well see how that other guy is.

And so Shikamaru winds back to where Masaomi's at, waiting patiently before poking him in the forehead a couple of times.]

[Wiggle.

...Wiggle.

...And eventually he comes too, blinking a bit, woozy]

[Shikamaru holds up three fingers.]

How many?

Three. Three fingers.

Good. Very good. [He grins.] You'd be outta luck if I had to call a doctor.

Why, can't remember the number?

[Hecan't either. he rubs his head, chuckling]

[Number?]

Ha. No names, for that matter. [He offers a hand, to help Masaomi sit back up.]

Touche. We're in the same boat. [And he takes the hand, using it to stand. He smiles, easily, and collects himself for standing]

[Shikamaru will remain where he's crouched here. He could stand, but... well it seems so troublesome.

He decides he likes that word.]

In that case, and since you were out of it... [And here he will lower his voice conspiratorially] I will warn you not to open that door.

[That door being the one Linda went into.]

Did it go in there?

[It must have, if he's warning him. But wow... that's. His bedroom? where he woke up at least]

[Sage nod. Yes, yes it did.]

Oh. Well... it's not here, at least.

Count your blessings.

[And in the meantime, let's scoot more towards the living room.]

...Where is he? Who is he?]

[Very good questions, but HELL IF HE KNOWS. Shikamaru is still thirsty so, now on his feet, he's looking for that sink.]

[...Two beanbag chairs, a couch, and an arm chair. This living room is totally excessive.]

[Don't forget the coffee table. But what, no kitchen? Shikamaru mutters unhappily to himself and walks around until he stumbles upon the bathroom.]

[...Okay so there are two other bedrooms. Where's their third roomie?]

[IT'S A ROBOT, DUH.

Okay no. Anyways, water acquired, Shikamaru comes back around to sit on the couch. It feels comfy enough, but not exactly broken in. He looks around, takes a sip, and then puts his feet on the coffee table.]

Not sure what we're supposed to do from here. [...] Maybe we have cereal.

Uh... who even are you.

[Who is he for that matter??]
