[So Masaomi Kida has a plan today. Namely, he's out to kidnap (for her own good) Katara. There's a few times he could do this. He considers going for her before school... but he's not a morning person and neither is she. After school feels like too little time, so he's opted to pull her aside towards the end of lunch (to hopefully evade Sokka), saying that he has forgotten something (which'll later evolve into "show you something" among other excuses). Well, him and Linda (because he's taken to bringing the pichu along to school, lately) And from there... the adventure begins.

Hours of inane things ensue, not to mention a handful of not-quite arguments about how late it is getting. Feel free to run into them more or less anywhere: item shop, Azzip pizza, various floors of various community buildings,Rec Center, south side of town, north side of town, generally more or less anywhere. Chances are you won't even need to be the first to speak, because you run a good chance of running into them talking! This'll be any time between lunch break at school and oh, early evening

[Katara... is NOT surprised that Shikamaru practices. He'd better, if he was going to keep annoyingly beating her.

But she is surprised that the two of THEM are practicing.

We're seeing if Masaomi here can learn how to use chakra.

If it can't, then all those years in school sure were pointless.

It's not a skill you're born with. That's why it takes a lot of time and effort.

[He shoots Masaomi a look. They have a long ways to go, but he's not doing... awful. Yet.

Katara though.] Oh sure. It's not like you can bend a waterfall at us or anything.

Anyways. It's a work in progress. We've figured out he might be at least capable of it.

[He said sarcastically. Do ninja hand motions like you might see in a movie. Like "secret ninja" hand signs]

Like I said, I still think I should be jealous.

[Seriously, being able to do the stuff that ninja do could be so useful. But. She'd already made the decision once before to pursue fighting in lieu of healing - and while she doesn't regret it, she knows that she wouldn't have enough time to devote to actually mastering it without giving up something else. She's better off sticking with what she's highly skilled in, at least, until she can free up some more time.]

So I'll just have to keep the lessons in mind.

You're talking to the wrong guy, then. I'm no tracker. You'd have more luck getting a pokemon, like Masaomi.

[Actually, he's not sure if pokemon have those kinds of abilities, but he knows there's different kinds... so some of them might? Oh well. If he sounds dumb, he sounds dumb, and this is a subject Masaomi can school him in.]

Ah... well, that probably depends. If it was someone like Yellow's Ratty [THAT DISGUSTING FURBALL] or Gold's Aitaro, then maybe. I don't think you'd be good for that, right Linda?

[Linda huffs. Looking for people? She could, but she's rather just beat people up]

[It just makes sense to her. But whatever. She's willing to shift the topic, she can always bring this up again with Shikamaru later.]

And I don't think a Pokemon would be a good idea. Momo might get jealous.
