[So Masaomi Kida has a plan today. Namely, he's out to kidnap (for her own good) Katara. There's a few times he could do this. He considers going for her before school... but he's not a morning person and neither is she. After school feels like too little time, so he's opted to pull her aside towards the end of lunch (to hopefully evade Sokka), saying that he has forgotten something (which'll later evolve into "show you something" among other excuses). Well, him and Linda (because he's taken to bringing the pichu along to school, lately) And from there... the adventure begins.

Hours of inane things ensue, not to mention a handful of not-quite arguments about how late it is getting. Feel free to run into them more or less anywhere: item shop, Azzip pizza, various floors of various community buildings,Rec Center, south side of town, north side of town, generally more or less anywhere. Chances are you won't even need to be the first to speak, because you run a good chance of running into them talking! This'll be any time between lunch break at school and oh, early evening

[For this one its actually Linda who notices first. Being a pokemon in Luceti you don't encounter a ton unless you happen to go over the house 11 or run into the people from it. Her instincts are still battle-oriented, so when Kyle's scent is picked up, there's some sort of genetic familiarity and she leaps off Masaomi's shoulder to run over towards Hiccup and therefore Kyle, looking up indignantly.

Masaomi, of course, is racing right after]

Waaaah- hay!

[And Katara chases after them, keeping a fairly even pace.]

Hey, Hiccup! Kyle!

[Can she project a WE ARE ALL JUST FRIENDS HERE vibe any stronger? It is uncertain.]

[dragoneer]

[At the sight of the other Pokemon, Kyle goes jumping off of Hiccup's shoulder to face Linda in the road, looking proud with her short little arms waving. Oh dear. They're not going to fight, are they? But Hiccup is momentarily distracted by Masaomi and Katara running up.]

Uhh--um, hey! Katara! And--[Yeah bro he totally doesn't remember your name.] Uh...is that another Pokemon?

[Linda is a showman of a thing. Puffing out her cheeks and sparking oh yeah, drago-girl? let's rock?

But Masaomi just folds his arms, sighing dramatically with his head cocked to the side. It's a pretty odd posture really]

She is at that.

[Just sort of breathlessly making introductions.]

This is Linda. Remember, I told you Masaomi had a Pokemon?

[dragoneer]

[Ah. Right. That makes sense. Even if Linda looks like a much different type of Pokemon than Kyle. He wonders what kind it is.]

Right...uh...hi, Linda. This is Kyle. [There's a distinct sound of 'please don't pick a fight' in his voice.]

[Linda looks up at him, then looks at Kyle. And then considers a moment before winking at him. Yes, winking. So you want to fight yet? I'm totally better.]

Aaah, so he's the dragon?

[markofthebrave]

She. She is the dragon.

[Why is everyone assuming he? It's so rude.]

[dragoneer]

[And that's why Kyle thinks you are awesome, Katara. She also doesn't appreciate Linda's winking. SHE WILL NOT PROVOKED, SHE'S BETTER THAN THAT. But it's tempting...she turns to give Hiccup a questioning look.]

Ahh--yeah, dragon type. It's an Axew. What kind is she?

Pichu. Electric type.

[Or at least. He thinks that's what the pokedex said. Shrug dramatically here.

Gosh can we fight yet? <- from the mouse to Masaomi]

[No. No fighting.]

I'm glad you two had a chance to meet.

[Eh heh. Heh.]

[dragoneer]

[Kyle looks ready to step forward and start a rumble so Hiccup swoops and scoops her up. The Pokemon wriggles in protest.]

Y-yeah, me too. Gold mentioned there were others but I hadn't met any yet. Umm...Masaomi, right?

[and he nods. Yep, Masaomi.

Linda, meanwhile, is positively smirking. "Hahaha your trainer won't even let this happen"]

You're the first I've met.

Why is Katara getting the feeling that Linda... and also Masaomi... aren't interested in playing nice?]

[Hiccup is a lover, not a fighter! Kyle, however, seems to be very much a fighter.]

Uhh...guess we're a couple of the lucky few, then, huh?

We are at that~ I wonder who the others are? Other guys? Babes? Both?

[Just listening here. And keeping an eye on the Pokemon.]

Er...yeah, it is a mystery. Guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for other people wandering around with strange monsters.

Probably small ones too. [He nods sagely at this, looking back down at Linda and back up to Kyle]

Sooo~ what's dragon even mean? Fire breathing?

[...mounting sense of 'Oh boy, here it comes.']

Uhhh...well? She's not like my other dragon--Toothless. He has wings and can, yeah, breathe fire. But she obviously doesn't have wings and so far, doesn't breathe fire. So I guess it's a bit different for dragon Pokemon.

[Yeah, he really has no idea.]

Well what sort of things does she do?

[Levelly. he's actually genuinely curious]

She's got a mean leer.

[Katara's tone is mildly encouraging and amused.

Okay, so. She probably shouldn't be encouraging this. But that was still one of the cutest things ever.]

[Kyle nods. YOU BET SHE DOES. The Pokemon doesn't quite pick up on her teasing tone, but Hiccup does, and he laughs a bit uneasily.]

Yeah, she's got the leer, and scratch, too. What does your Pokemon know?

Well... she was born with Volt Tackle, actually.
