[...And blissfully unaware that both of his filters failed in his speed and excitement, Masaomi is now off to spend the whole day (or at least until sunset, so most of the afternoon after school) with his best friend, dragons_peak! They'll be all over town, so feel free to run into them wherever, but there are a few key places one might run into them if you want ideas: the library (yes, really) to look for manga or something else worth reading! The clothing shop to get themselves a new swimsuits for the beach (or Gold's new pool) this summer! And, of course, the rec center to play some pool because MAsaomi feels he needs practice and Mikado got dragged into it.

Besides that, Masaomi's going to try to find the people he ran into when he thought Mikado was gone (albeit, some of them he's surely told Mikado was back to before now) to show how okay he is now. If this means he needs to detour the whole way to the Avatar house and/or other places he will.

PS: girls, if you're around the square, you might be "tag team" hit on.

[No, Konatsu hadn't needed it, but he'd accepted the offer to be shown around anyway. He acknowlegdged that, however unlikely it was, it was possible that Shuri had spotted something critical that Konatsu wouldn't have noticed right away on his own. And even if he hadn't, this little adventure may have been enough to sate Shuri's seemingly endless desire to be around Konatsu.]

[And it could have also just made it worse. Either way, Konatsu know that resisting would have been pointless, at best, and a huge waste of time on top of that. So he strides alongside Shuri with his precise military steps, only periodically looking away from the path in front of him, and overall gives an impression much more of a military officer out to inspect his camp than a teenage boy out on a stroll with a... friend.]

[He pauses when Shuri suddenly calls out to the two boys across the square, and simply studies them for a moment before stepping forward in their direction.]

And so then I- [...Shuri-! Masaomi turns and (still in this pose) acknowledges the other two. Oh. Maybe they should get closer? He focuses on the boy next to Shuri. They give off a different vibe...]

[ Glances over Masaomi's shoulder at Shuri's voice, and immediately turns his attention to the new person. ...Did he just say "Konatsu?" So this must be the friend he wanted him to meet. So he smiles and gives a polite nod. ]

[ There's totally a skip in his step and that smile is positively glowing with happiness. If he had a tail, it would be wagging so hard it would have kicked up a tornado by now. He spins around to face Konatsu, making a broad gesture towards them. ]

Konatsu! This is Masaomi Kida and Mikado Ryugamine!

[ and he swings around and loops an arm around Konatsu's shoulders. Personal space means nothing. ]

Mikado, Masaomi, this is Konatsu Warren! [ SPARKLE SPARKLE SPARKLE!!! you can practically see the stars surrounding that name. ]

[Konatsu continues his sedate approach and comes to a stop a respectful distance away from the two teenagers, close enough to communicate easily, but not quite close enough to touch without both parties reaching a little. He gives the two a polite nod as they're introduced.]

It's a pleasure to-- [And then Shuri hugs on to him. Konatsu's expression flicks through a dozen different varieties of surprise, annoyance, and embarrassment in the span of about a second before he schools his features back into polite neutrality.] It's a pleasure to meet you both.

[It's only once his greeting is made that Konatsu attempts to try to extract himself from Shuri's grasp with as much dignity as possible.]

[ shuri doesn't even notice the shorter blonde trying to escape his affectionate hugging. he's already swinging his arms back to his sides. for once, he's not going to interject! just yet. ]
