[...And blissfully unaware that both of his filters failed in his speed and excitement, Masaomi is now off to spend the whole day (or at least until sunset, so most of the afternoon after school) with his best friend,

dragons_peak! They'll be all over town, so feel free to run into them wherever, but there are a few key places one might run into them if you want ideas: the library (yes, really) to look for manga or something else worth reading! The clothing shop to get themselves a new swimsuits for the beach (or Gold's new pool) this summer! And, of course, the rec center to play some pool because MAsaomi feels he needs practice and Mikado got dragged into it.

Besides that, Masaomi's going to try to find the people he ran into when he thought Mikado was gone (albeit, some of them he's surely told Mikado was back to before now) to show how okay he is now. If this means he needs to detour the whole way to the Avatar house and/or other places he will.

PS: girls, if you're around the square, you might be "tag team" hit on.

I want you to explain why in the world you would do something like this.

....You may be Kaori's 'knight', but I am also her 'big brother'. Do you really think she'll be ok with this? [He didn't approve of the date period, but this was just downright rude and disrespectful.] Do you honestly consider asking them both out at once to be respectful to her? To Rise?

Is this how a 'knight' is suppose to treat someone?

[His voice flattens. There's no defense so... he's got no reason to make one. Frey will lash out either way. It's all useless]

You know Masaomi very well, Frey-san. You know this is in his nature and he does silly things like this; I'm sure he meant no harm by it.

Just because it is in his nature and he intended no harm doesn't make it right, Mikado. You are making excuses for his behavior. [His stare gets accusing, now.] You know as well as I do Kaori's circumstances. She deserves better then this.

Ah, maybe she does at that.

[He says this flatly, almost bored, shifting his gaze. He knows this - of course Kaori deserves better - or does she, she's not human? - but what she has is him. There's nothing inherently wrong with that]

Frey-san. [ His tone is stronger and more punctuated now, and he gives Frey a frown. Lay off the best friend, man! ] Masaomi probably understands that what he did wasn't right. Please, let it go.

[His voice is cold, though, as he turns to leave. he wasn't sticking around any longer, he might lose his cool.] However, please make sure to apologize.

[ He watches Frey as he walks off before turning to Masaomi and puts a hand on his shoulder. He doesn't say it, but his expression says "are you okay?"
