[...And blissfully unaware that both of his filters failed in his speed and excitement, Masaomi is now off to spend the whole day (or at least until sunset, so most of the afternoon after school) with his best friend,

dragons_peak! They'll be all over town, so feel free to run into them wherever, but there are a few key places one might run into them if you want ideas: the library (yes, really) to look for manga or something else worth reading! The clothing shop to get themselves a new swimsuits for the beach (or Gold's new pool) this summer! And, of course, the rec center to play some pool because MAsaomi feels he needs practice and Mikado got dragged into it.

Besides that, Masaomi's going to try to find the people he ran into when he thought Mikado was gone (albeit, some of them he's surely told Mikado was back to before now) to show how okay he is now. If this means he needs to detour the whole way to the Avatar house and/or other places he will.

PS: girls, if you're around the square, you might be "tag team" hit on.

[ Well, since Mikado would normally glance in a direction if he saw Masaomi doing so, he doesn't, since he was too busy looking into the bag that Nill showed him. He doesn't particularly notice anything threatening, either.

He does, however, smile to her when he's done looking in the bag. She's kind of adorable ]

[When she meets his eyes and smiles, he gives a short nod in return. Whoever these kids are, they seem pretty harmless. It's highly unlikely either of them is the creeper that he's supposed to look out for, but it might be good to know the faces of the people she's familiar with in town.

When the blonde youth turns to look at him, he meets the kid's eyes for a moment before glancing away, feigning disinterest. Not like he's concerned or anything, he just... has nothing better to do.]

[Well, if Haine's okay standing around for a little bit, then Nill won't worry about it. Though she does wish he would come over and talk to them instead of standing there, Nill knows it really isn't like him to do that unless something really compelled him. Why he keeps insisting on walking her to the grocery store, though, she doesn't understand. She's made the trip dozens of times on her own...]

[She puts the bag back on the wagon, catching Masaomi looking over at Haine. Oh... was Masaomi worried about Haine standing over there watching them? Haine did have that effect on people sometimes. Nill's shoulders twitch a little in laughter and she pulls out her stack of notecards. After flipping through a few, she finally finds one written both in her handwriting, and in a printing that isn't hers, and hands it to Masaomi:]

['Hello, my name is Nill. ~~I can't speak, but please be patient with me.~~ I live with three gunmen and we have a spare room for the arsenal.']

[She jerks her head ever so slightly over in Haine's direction once they're done reading the card.]

...I'm not sure that's something you tell people, Nill-chan.

[...Because now he's totally on edge and while he's smiling it's quite strained]

[ He reads the card and directs a, ] Nice to meet you. [ at Nill with a smile before glancing cautiously in the direction of Haine. ...He doesn't look too friendly. ]

[What're they- oh right, the cards. Haine glances over for a moment, but with all the ones they've given her, any one of them could have the right effect. Is it his imagination, or do they both look a little nervous? Babies. His hand isn't even on his gun yet. Nevermind that the safety is on. If he was actually pissed off, they'd know it. Otherwise, he'll just continue to make sure that this little exchange is just as innocent as it seems.]

[It really isn't, but every once in a while she finds that Badou or Haine has rewritten her cards or inserted new, 'helpful' ones into her stack. She thought they were a little funny ~~even if nobody else felt that way~~.]

[Nill smiles to Masaomi's friend--it's nice to meet him too! Even if it looks like Haine is making them both a little nervous. Maybe if they all met, they would be more relaxed! She flips the card Haine added to over and writes a quick note on the back: 'He's my friend. Do you want to meet him?']

[Masaomi sighs and then... well. there's a chuckle as he shrugs]

Ah~ I'd love that, Nill-chan.
