Mmm. I wonder. Call it conjecture on my part, but what happens to a body when you stab out it's heart?

[ This world... but those are some broad assumptions on his part. About more than one thing. ]

[ Action ]

[ But as for the main part of what Masaomi Kida is doing today, he's hanging out by the fountain, standing on the edge of it with arms wide. Weakness. Weakness is what might destroy them, huh? He wonders if that's individual, or if that's the weakness of a people. He wonders what weakness actually means. Despite this, he's not with Linda for once, and there's a smile on his face. It doesn't meet his eyes, but he's hawking around for anyone in the square, particularly people he knows. And he's holding in his hands two... playing cards?

And when he spies someone, he'll have to bound up to them and ask: ]

Hello! Hello~! Let's play a little game, huuuh?

[ Because he's older now. Because it's the end, and because what else is there left for him to loose. He'll play a game which has him terrified. ]

[Rock Lee had been jogging by, and he spins around to a stop in front of Masaomi.]

Masaomi-kun... I'll play any game!

It dies.

[is this the state of anatomical education these days or is this some elaborate macabre metaphor]

[He gasps, wide-eyed, as he leans over and looks between both of them in astonishment.]

Truth or... Truth?! But what is the difference?
oleander: (next chords struck are fault and failure)

It smells and makes a big wet mess.

[Duh.]
oleander: (really think he's coming back for you?)

Yep, that's my name! [Don't wear it out.]

So why are you asking about the fine art of heart stabbing?
niceguypose: (concerned)

Glass? [Once he got half of his body broken by sand, does that count.] I am not sure, but... we will see!

Let's play this game!
biophilia: (hmm | hand over mouth)

[personal profile] biophilia 2015-01-21 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Depends on the body in question.

Well, you can't just go asking something like that and give that as your reason. It's just a little rude.
biophilia: (nnnngh | where am I?)

[personal profile] biophilia 2015-01-21 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know about that. But what would kill someone in my world my only dent some of the folks here, so there's something different.

Not everything living needs a heart to begin with.
oleander: (we both know that finger points on cue)

[voice]

[personal profile] oleander 2015-01-21 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... I guess because it's really distinct? It smells kind of metally, and then it smells kind of sweet, but overall you're going to feel sick if you're around it too long.

[....]

And it just feels kind of wrong, somewhere way back, y'know?
niceguypose: (intense)

[What a neat trick! Lee's eyes rapidly scan around for a moment in search of that missing Ace.]

Very well! I'll see what the power of this absolute truth is like! Who will go first?!

[... That could be a dangerous question, Masaomi.]

What do you mean by that? I have them just like everyone else does.
biophilia: (hmm | cigarette)

[personal profile] biophilia 2015-01-21 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
[a half-smile] Well, technically, most living things don't have a heart. [he's just gonna go with biology over metaphor, here, that's more his purview]

I was thinking of mushi [oh Ginko when are you not], but it's true of single-celled organisms on any world, I'd imagine.
