[This whole post is forward dated lightly to the 14th/tomorrow]

[Action/Stage Setting]

[Okay so Masaomi got back to his apartment with Shikamaru in the early morn... to find that Shikamaruwas not there. He found the note, but then went to search the room of his body, and made another interesting discovery on top of the one that his friend was hospitalized. He's not really sure what to think of both of these together (particularly given that he was on a mission) but... Oh well, what's done is done and he'll see it through. So with a sigh, he packs up a little lunch and rolls up some other stuff into a bag and heads to the Dome to see him.

You can see him en route with the bag or when he's setting up things in the kitchen or anything things like that if you want. He's sort of doing this early-ish in the morning, but yeah.

After that, well, he's going to be in the Dome's clinic. Seeing Shikamaru, hanging out, and then finally getting bored with that and going to sit around the Dome proper, chatting with his Pikachu and slicing up apples for her. Maybe a bit of light training in one of the sim rooms, but for most of the day they seem to be full-ish. Aand then-]

[Voice]

E...hto. Honestly, I'd like to have another set of spars, but Linda here's more out of shape than I am from all that searching. Saaaah, not that I'll oppose any spars, I'm going to be at this Dome all week by the looks of it. But either way, who feels like a spar with me and my partner, or perhaps something more traditional like a pokemon battle? Both would give us something to do, eeeh?

[A sigh]

Also, I'm back folks. I hope the ladies didn't miss me too much while I was out? [He tries to be flirtly, but he comes out a little terse still in spite of himself.]

Oh, damn skippy. [He's had a mixed week. Some losses - one particularly demoralizing one for his and Linda's teamwork in particular - but a few surprising situations he's counting as wins. He's really not sure where he stands now with Lee, as this is the final fight in what became a week of fights. Either way, he punches it and then dramatically opens the door to the simulation once its started up.

Inside, is... well, it's a dusty canyon. the base of something like the grand canyon, except with purple sand]

[He follows Masaomi in and examines his surroundings with interest, scooping up a handful of the purple sand to sniff at it.]

A most interesting selection!

[The soil is high in iron, or something that smells like iron. Not that Masaomi would think to program soil composition]

I do like to look flashy.

[He takes mental note of this and drops it to the ground before facing Masaomi with a grin.]

You have succeeded, Masaomi-kun. When shall we commence?

Alright, let's go. [And he takes a...stance. Okay there's no stance, but to someone skilled in Taijutsu like Lee, his seemingly "relaxed" pose clearly doesn't have a lot of openings. It's from his history of deception really. Linda though, does look aggressive. Sparking an eager for the showdown to start]

[And Lee assumes his own stance. He takes a moment to analyze and admire Masaomi's own while taking note of Linda's own expression. He knew very little of the creature's abilities; truly she would be the wild card in this battle.]

Very well! Let the more talented youth blossom!

[And even without visible openings, he will test the waters by... well, speeding over to try an aerial roundhouse kick to Masaomi's side.]

[Holy shit that was fast for a roundhouse kick. Masaomi's eyes widen, and while he reacts with what he's tended to consider fast, he only narrowly avoids it. But as he does, her grins- Because Linda is making her first move.

Clapping a paw into her tail and making a sonic boom to make the enemy flinch. Fake Out. And with the Fake Out there, Masaomi's going to regain his footing for a counter attack]

[Lee didn't know what to expect from Linda; the Fake Out luckily isn't as freaky as anything the Sound Ninjas had pulled off, but it is able to do its trick by makint the ninja flinch. That counter attack will probably connect.]

[And bam, there's a solid punch to Lee's gut. ...which is why harder than he expected, that actually sort of hurt his hand. Wow, this guy has muscles on his muscles. Still, he can't relent, so he tries to follow up with a second punch]

[He takes the punch, but as his senses return he acts swiftly; he will try to catch the second punch and then with his other hand, he punches into Masaomi's own chest, accompanied by a "Hwoooh!" noise.]

[Ow. That hurt. He keeps his ground though, and tries to follow up with a knee into Lee. Really though, that's distraction, so Linda can run up and try to bite Lee in the ankle with a Thunder Fang]

[Lee does bring his elbow down into the leg that's knee-ing when the Pichu is able to bite at him. The elemental attack does manage to do more than Masaomi's fists and it stings, although he'll quickly try to kick at Linda while gritting his teeth.]

[It also charges his body just a little, but wearing the earring he's in a pretty good position at the moment. Linda's dislodged, but now he follows up with putting a slight amount of distance to bring in his own kick.]

[And Lee chooses to meet kick with kick, letting out a grunt as he does so from lingering sensations of the electric attack. By now he can tell for sure that he's the one physically stronger, so he's confident in knocking Masaomi off balance so that he can close in with a fresh punch.]

[Crap - Lee's stronger and faster, so he needs to be more clever. He doesn't have time to get ahold of his impact dial right now, or pull out any weapons. Instead, he bends himself down further, rolling with being put off balance to end up crouching almost parallel to the ground, backwards, relying on his sense of balance and the hope that the punch won't connect because of that.

In the meantime, though, while he's doing that, Linda's floating around to strike back. It'll take more than the time of the punch though, of course]
