This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[It's a good thing she's got fur to hide her blush. Darn it, Masaomi. Why do you have to be so darn classy?

Ah well, she'll laugh it off, anyway before trotting right next to him.]

You been practicing? I gotta admit, that was pretty smooth.

Actually, isn't it more that I'm just flowing through my heart? It allows me to keep up with the likes of you.

[Okay, he smiles broader at being called smooth. He tries, after all]

So it's like you're on autopilot with your heart doing all the talking? Kinda cheesy, but I can roll with that.

[She snorts. Man, there's something amusingly charming about his demeanor.]

Does that mean I can keep you for the rest of the night, then?

[With his eyebrows arching up, he steers the both of them towards where he left he car]

[Excellent. Once the car's in sight, she'll make her way to the side door and shoot him a grin.]

Maybe, but don't get too carried away.

[Not that she's got any big plans for the evening.]

Hey, I'll keep you as long as I can have you. [And he slides into the driver's seat. He'd like to get her door but she was there already so. Yeah]

[Just give her a second to crack that door open. It's trickier without fingers! Once she manages to slip inside, she'll lean back, fasten her seatbelt and turn her eyes on Masaomi.]

So, where to?

Somewhere around Hightown, I'd say. Got any requests?

[And revving the engine.]

Excuse me?!

[ She takes it in the worst possible way. Her temper quickly unfolds, and scowling, she levels a fist towards his middle. ]

Yeah... no. I don't think he's that stupid.

[And with that he just tries to make it to the phone. Dive, dive, he can do this!]

Hahaha, that's true! He's brighter than a likes of us!

[precipitous]

[ And when he dives for the phone and her swing misses, she's just going to try and...full-on tackle him to the ground. To at least give her enough time to run like hell. ]

[And it connects! ...Being rich he can't fight himself out of a paper bag despite his dad being a big General and everything. But. Yeah he's pinned into the ground of the phone booth]

I see. [Cilan nods in understanding.] I don't think there's anything wrong with having pride in your abilities, but knowing when to keep it from clouding your judgement is important, too. Even I have had to remember that sometimes, depending on the taste of the battle at hand. [His most significant losses in battle occurred when he had allowed himself to show-off a little too much, or even being blinded by pride or anger towards someone if his battle with Skyla was an indication.]

But in the case of obedience, it's not only important that Pokemon trust you, but that they also respect you as well. [Something that Green has likely told you as well, but he's not about to re-hash a lecture you might have already heard just yet.] The fact that you are aware of the need to keep her from getting too carried away is a positive sign.

Haah. That's one way of putting it, anyway.

[Maybe he's still bitter. He really shouldn't be projecting that sour feeling on to Cilan, because Cilan is someone genuinely nice and helpful even if he's a bit of a windbag. To that end, he just bites his lip after that before relaxing into watching Linda charge. It isn't pleasant to see her shock herself and one or two failed started but shortly after that, she manages to get enough voltage to shoot-

Brighter, I guess. But he can still be pretty stupid sometimes, so you have to wonder.

So what's been keeping you out, anyway?

Oh come now! You get three guesses, and if every one of them isn't correct, then you lose!

[It's a woman, obviously. Specifically, it's one of the teachers at his school, a gym teacher by the name of Rainbow Dash]

[ Good, he's down, and she books it out of there. Even if he calls the cops and they rush to the scene, she'll be long gone, blending in with the crowds.

But sheesh. That was way too close a call. ]

Hah. Well, if you must know, it's a sporty dame by the name of Dash.

Dash?

[ He's heard that name before... oh, right. ]

Isn't that one of the teachers?
