This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[Heh - well, he's gotten three labels off right here, so he turns and tosses the three over at Static. With that, he smiles and-]

[He waves as he heads out, casting one last look at Linda, and out he goes.]

[Her neutral expression hardens, if ever so slightly, and she points at his face.]

[Action; uh...July 6th?]

[Or, you know, whatever date you want since we're good with whenever. Either way, sometime after Masaomi's birthday and the Speed-Dating event that everyone except us was busy with, Cilan will leave a quick message for him through the journals:]

Hello Masaomi! Would you and Linda like to train together with us over at the Battle Dome today? We can discuss whichever tastes you'd like to improve on in terms of your training with Linda as well if you wish. If today's not a good day we can reschedule, but otherwise if you're not busy, then please feel free to meet us there.

[And yes, Masaomi can find him at the Battle Dome should he decide to take us up on the offer today (or whatever day this is), currently looking at the monitor that helps set up the training fields and simulations, trying to decide what should be implemented for today's training...]

[Action, how about more late June... 26th or something?]

[...Hah]

Yeah, I'll be there, Cilan-san.

[And indeed, he'll meet them there. Within the better part of thirty minutes. Linda is on his shoulder - and really, he's wary. This is the first time he's doing one on one with Cilan and the first time he's going to explain the problems they've been having, as well as... no he doesn't need to mention Green's theories]

[Action, yes that sounds good!!]

[Before Green left, Cilan had actually spoken with him a little once before about Masaomi. He had agreed with Green that Masaomi's reasoning for training Linda ("because she's powerful") at the time was flawed and that he wouldn't interfere with Green from keeping Masaomi's pokedex, but he also made it clear that if Green had gone as far as actually separating Linda and Masaomi from one another, Cilan would be very against that decision. Masaomi may not be an experienced trainer, maybe even misguided about his motivations, but Cilan is sure that he's not a bad person. There are far, far worse people you could meet in the Pokemon world that are trainers, and he doesn't think Masaomi is one of them.

Still, he can only know what Masaomi needs help with by actually observing a little more in person. It's our duty to help trainers find the right path and strengthen the bonds they have with their Pokemon, and as an A-class Pokemon Connoisseur, he'll advise the other to the very best of our abilities.]

Hello Masaomi, and Linda too! [Cilan appears to be in good spirits when he looks up from the monitor. He doesn't have any of his own Pokemon out yet, but he'll likely let them out once they're in the room.] I'm glad to see that you were able to come today! How have the two of you been since we last spoke?

[Action, yes that sounds good!!]

Well, Linda had some improvements on her diet, even if it seems she could have wished for them a little spicier. And in my case, I too had some nice improvements to my "diet" at least when it comes to sampling the ladies.

[And he laughs at his own joke here, with the Pikachu instead just rolling her eyes. What... is her trainer sometimes. No, she's used to it. But it's still silly]

Ah, I see. [He'll take that to mean that the Speed Dating thing went well for Masaomi...and considering how awkward Cilan got on that topic last time, he chooses not to ask for an elaboration.]

Well then, do you have any particular preferences regarding the taste of the environment today? [Indicating the display for setting up the layout. He's not trying to set up anything too complicated for today since he's not on his own, but he'd like Masaomi's input of course if there's something specific he feels needed to be added.]

No real setting preference, no. Oh-- actually, one. There should be some big rocks there. Other than that, I'd like to see what you come up with.

[Because he needs to like... work out how to explain something awkward, anyway]

I could listen to you all day.

Rocks? [He actually laughs a little at that.] That can be arranged--in fact, I'm used to having quite a few of them as part of the field.

[He makes one or two further adjustments, and once it looks like it's ready, Masaomi can take a look, see what he thinks of it. Last time Cilan had been here with Masaomi, the other had a spring and waterfall set up, but this one doesn't have that added. There are trees surrounding the outer edge, but most of the room has been taken up by a good number of rocks of different sizes, big and small--Cilan wasn't kidding about having rocks here, and it looks like he added some larger ones like you wanted. There's even a few rocks peeking out of the ground right in the middle of where a Pokemon battle might have normally taken place in a setting like this back in his world, so it's not necessarily a flat field in the middle.

Truth be told, he had considered bringing up the rocky field he liked that he had tweaked to look similar to his gym back home, but...no, thinking about the gym might be too distracting today, so instead he's adjusted it further to look more like an outdoor version of it. There's also one other thing that's been added: he's not adding simulated enemies or what-not for now, but there are what looks like targets set up for aiming and target practice over by the trees at different positions and heights above the ground.]

Will this suit your tastes, or is there anything else you'd like added or changed?

No.. No, I daresay you've got a good set up here.

[HE sounds marginally distracted as she says this, but Linda looks around and ends up nodding in approval. Yeah. this works pretty well for all the purposes they'll need for now. Her tail taps the ground two times to confirm this]

[Cilan claps his hands together] Excellent! With that, we can say that it's training time~!

[You're such a weirdo Cilan--but once he's walked over to a place inside to stand at, he adopts a slightly more professional-sounding tone as he takes out a pokeball.] First, I'd like to ask, if you don't mind--what kind of training do you and Linda normally like to do, and what do you think you'd want to try to improve on today?

Green-san had me working on her responsiveness. Personally, before then, I'd been working on her speed. But lately, we've been working on her physical power.

[He frowns, and then as they start to answer the chamber proper]

However, there's a reason for that.

[cilantro]

[Yes, those are things worth improving on, though Cilan does note Masaomi's frown now.]

Oh? What reason is that?
