This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

Uh...huh. [ She's still totally baffled. ] But...she was bigger before, wasn't she?

[systemshock]

I guess I never really thought of that. [He looked back at the Pikachu again and it left him with the most pressing question of all yet.] So, you going to evolve it?

[...Heh. He tosses the ball in the air after pushing the button down hard - it opens and in a flash of red light, Linda appears - landing on Masaomi's head, which hurts more than you'd expect even if she's light]

I've got a thunderstone ready, but I'm waiting on that.

[Linda, for her part, seems to pout at that. She feels so weak now what with the issues they're working with now, and she's prefer to be stronger, completed, evolved. She doesn't understand the drawbacks]

[precipitous]

[ Yeah no, she wasn't expecting that. ]

Wow, that's...[ Pretty incredible. ] I mean, that's kind of cool, I guess.

[generalflirt]

[Linda mouse-laughs at that, actually, and Masaomi just grins]

I thought it was cool too.

[precipitous]

[ Korra straightens, trying not to look too impressed. She's got a reputation to keep, you know? Eferin doesn't want her to look too interested. ]

Must get kind of cramped in there though. [ Itty bitty living space. ]

Watch out there. It'd be a shame if your flattery fell on deaf ears. Maybe you should save it for someone else.

[systemshock]

Right. So she has all her moves first, right? Can they really only use four? That never made sense to me.

[generalflirt]

I don't know, you did seem to hear me pretty well. Maybe just that I don't sound as melodious as Boyfriend-san.

[generalflirt]

[Oh, he can answer that! In fact, he's pleased he can answer that, in fact adopts an explaining stance here, finger up and everything!]

The four's got to do with a proper battle style! Apparently, most leagues require you to only use four moves in battle, with the idea you'll come up with creative uses for those four. For people more skilled than me, it works well - I've seen Gold do some amazing things using four or less moves in a match.

Not really, right? [Linda shrugs, not really. they end up shrugging in unison at Korra]

[precipitous]

Huh. [ She waves a hand. ] Well, I should probably leave you to it. I've got some fires to light.

[generalflirt]

I'll keep the one you've lit in my heart going - buuut, don't let me keep you.

[He places a hand on his heart for emphasis, but Linda just rolls her eyes]

[systemshock]

Makes sense. Like the six Pokemon rule, right? [Well, that solves one of the mysteries that always plagued him. Of course, that means Richie was right. Crap.]

[generalflirt]

Yeah, I think that's a League thing too, but that one I'm less sure one. Could be cultural, but I've never seen it in person either way. All the people from the pokemon world here only have three pokemon, [a brief pause and-] I guess as a way to limit their powers the way everyone else has them limited.

[Which... he only connected just now, wow. That does make a lot of sense now he thinks of it]

[precipitous]

[ Korra rolls her eyes too, but at least she's still grinning. ]

Better keep it burning bright. I want to hear a report later about you singing my praises.

His name is Ed. You can stop calling him that now.

Say the word, and I'm yours, Korra-chan. I'll even compose a sonnet. [And he hops back a step, relaxing into a pronounced shrug]

Ed-san, then. [Hah. Both him and the Tsinku in him are a little put out - it's two for two now on beautiful girls with Sona in them who haven't gone quite as planned. At least this was less cold than it was with Mia]

Sorry for that, Winry-san.

... half Pokemon for half power?

[He's still getting used to being half power himself. It's interesting to think others are dealing with the same thing.]

I just thought of that now, but it makes sense. [Actually, it makes a lot of sense, now he thinks about it. He glances at Linda, who shrugs - why would she know?]

So if they only have three each, why'd they give you her?

[You don't just GIVE Pokemon away. It's not even an option in game. You trade. You make baby Pokemon and trade them for baby Pokemon you don't have.]
