Masaomi wakes up on the 19th (post event), and starts his day as normal (well aside from waking up a bit later than normal) until he realizes WAIT, WHAT about two or three different things all at once. He promptly gives up any semblance of a normal morning, instead opens his journal and writes/draws the following entry:]

What can any of you tell me about this [arrow up to the Luffy sketch] guy?

Is he suave?

[Oh, he sees those war wounds. But in keeping with continuity with Katara's thread, he won't comment on them (yet) and therefore offer to heal them.

Instead, as the pichu has had enough of his fussing:]

Anything I can get you to drink?

To tell you the truth, I'll follow your recommendation.

[He knows his drinks.. a little. Not well at all, really, so he'll just play it up]

Guess the question is... how fast do you want to get drunk? I'd recommend something like beer or sake, personally. The morning after is not as bad. And hard liquor... well, if you're going to brave that, I don't recommend it straight for you yet.

Something like a rum and coke with a bit of lime would probably be good.

[...Lime sounds good.] Rum and Mt Dew?

[Thinking about that. Thiiiiiis cocktail comes to mind.]

Shouldn't be too bad. Rum and vodka tend to get on well with any kind of soda.

Well then it seems to me we got our man.

[Sweet. He doesn't waste time, taking the first longer sip immediately and then sighing when it's done. He barely even tasted it, he's just desperate for some distraction.

the pichu, as it is, is going to examine it a moment, and then lean over to lick it up as a cat might]

[Law for his part is going to take a measured sip of the Romulan ale, eyeing that sip-near-gulp with a watchful gaze.]

Bad morning, huh?
