My best friends are two boys I've known practically my entire life. One's name is Sora, the other is Riku. I don't know if you've met either of them. I've been here for about three years now and I've seen Riku come and go twice, and I've seen Sora come and go...gosh, I think this is the third time he's come back. [It has to be, right? Sora was here when she arrived. Then he left. Came back. Left. Came back and stayed for so long that she was almost sure he'd stay forever...left. And now he's back again.]

Sora left the first time almost immediately after I got here. He was back for a really short while, but he left again. The third time he showed up, he was here for a little over a year.

It was enough time for him to start dating me, anyway. We dated for almost a year before he was sent home again. When he came back? He didn't remember any of it.

I think one of the worst ways to miss someone is to have them right next to you. The other worst way is to know that you'll see them again when you go home, but it won't be the same as what happened here.
