[Believe it or not, Katara is usually in bed around this hour. She did make an effort to stay up late and wait for him to contact her, but even though she kept her journal open all through practice and into the evening... he still didn't contact her. She eventually decided there was no point in staying up and waiting for him.
It hasn't been long since she went to bed - a few minutes ago, maybe? - but Katara's never had any problems falling asleep. And light knocking is only going to get incorporated into uneven dreams... not wake her.]
