It might not be the exact same type of concern, but he thinks he can sort of relate--Iris is gone, and that's...kind of a relief, all things considered, but there's still his brother or Ash to worry about and whether or not they would be okay if he was to someday leave this place while they were still here. But dwelling too much on things like that leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth, so he wouldn't want Masaomi to be constantly worried about that sort of thing potentially happening in regards to Linda.]
